i am very glad with your comments in regards to rights of street families, on the same breath, i have an issue with a report recently published by knchr on their findings on eldoret /street families crisis. in the report nowhere in your reccommendations did you mention about remedies and redresss for the victims. i am a human rights defender in uasin gishu who have a long history in fighting for the rights of street connected persons

Hello Benson, We appreciate your feedback. The KNCHR fact finding report was shared to obtain consensus with various agencies, groups, State and non-State actors including CSOs & HRDs over the reported violations. The Commission is yet to publish the final all-inclusive report and once that is done, several interventions will be initiated towards securing redress and justice for the victims; while giving specific and detailed recommendations on the same.

True. We need a strong representation of the deaf in parliament, and a certain percentage representation in every sector of our society.
