In my case, for some reason, stalker 2 runs so much smoother through heroic than it does through patched crossover

Apple M4 Mac Mini I've downloaded it successfully, and can run it fine. The compiling shaders takes forever tho. As I started the game steam sent me a recommended AMD driver to install, should I install this to run more efficiently?

Thank you for the feedback, I know it feels forever and every time you start the game, also the case on my windows pc... No I would say you can skip the AMD one as the tool has it bult in.

Apple M2 Max - Can play, low settings all. - Did not install any optimization modes, but required to add a mode for disabling shader compilation. - Graphics bad - everything is dark (like light does not work often, with flashlight enabled - is ok). - Have changed settings (Contrast 30%, Luminosit 40%, Gamma 65%) and now is better.

software lumen doesn't work hence the game is very dark and full of silvery artifacts. Add r.Lumen.DiffuseIndirect.Allow=0 in engine.ini or wait for hardware lumen which might come in a future update.

I run stalker2 on my macbook air m1 8/512 through crossover, but it's poor quality and 5-10 fps. It's unplayable.

@@ALEXMADE No as you can see on 4:34 that it is all in Medium settings which for a Mac and not a Pc running natively is not that bad. The image is of a scene in the game at beginning of the night, sun going down so it looks quite dull if that is what you mean, cheers!

I did this dive late last year. So glad i found this video to remember parts of it. Ill never forget the 2' wide crab I came upon by entering one of the lower openings where a flashlight was mandatory. I was sure it was the same boat when I saw the three toilets, which I sat on. Cool video

yeah dude I'm on 1.1 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5 Sonoma 14.6.1 n it downloads but when I click on the download it just says that "this application isn't supported on this Mac" :L lmk if you have any luck When I try to run BDG3 as is, the game will load up to 100% then crash my Mac before showing the main menu

Hi there! Supposedly tmr will be the day the official mac version being released, will we be able to transfer the save to the official mac version using the manual transfer shown in the video? I am hoping the optimisation would be better, now I am at Act 3 and it is almost unplayable with the lag, especially the conversation during the coronation.

I noticed in your display settings it allowed for different resolutions. For some reason on my M2Max Macbook Pro 14' it only shows AMD compatibly display adapter, any idea why? Also it seems it does not work with online features since Steam can't be open. But this is still amazing guide, thank you!

Tried a whole bunch of other methods before stumbling upon this one. It doesnt seem to work for me: when I close steam, and go to Run--> bg3_dx11.exe nothing happens. Furthermore, Steam just keeps opening randomly no matter how many times i close it. Do you have any advice on this?
