This riff reminds me a lot of a some of the riffs from “Patagonian rats” by Tera Melos. A math rock/ noise/skate punk band. Totally different styles but similar melody. Part of the reason I love this song but I just love Michael Hurley in general.

finally figured it out. its an e note. after the b he does a little do hickey, that is basically an E power chord with the index taken off. (its the E on the A string.)

Michael tells everyone, not to put him and his concerts on You Tube. Why can't you accept this? It is ok to film him and take photos but he always asks politely not to put it on You Tube, and he means it as he says it, seriously
