First Disconnect the washer from the plug Second Hold down the on/off button for 5 seconds Third hold down the start/pause button for 5 seconds the same thing as the on off button Fourth plug the machine back in to the wall outlet

Was pretty skeptical of how an unplugged machine could do an electronic reset but because I had no other option I gave it a shot… wish I would have recorded the surprise on my face when my unresponsive washer came to life after following these steps!!! Can’t thank you enough for your post.. (by the way, I went even crazier and held it for 8seconds each!!) thanks a million!!!

I couldn't reach the power plug in the back of the washer so I turned off power at the circuit breaker panel. Did exactly what you said and it powered on! Wow! Cool! Did you really call him and tell him that. Cause if you did i for one would love to hear his response. Cause i do some repairs and tried this on a Kenmore version and it didnt work. So a display board has been ordered. Customer said it worked but sometimes you had to jiggle it to get it on. But seems the jiggle has played out. Lol. So hopefully replacing the board will solved . But certainly not 400 or 500 dollars. Thats wild! Incidently glad you got yours going. Good day to you.

Just had that same issue. Unplugging re-plugging did not work. Much easier solution was to turn off the breaker for a couple of minutes so you let all capacitors discharge, turn the breaker back on et voilà!!! It rebooted and work again
