I can see, an electric truck from Tesla being affordable. But then after everybody has an electric vehicle, the price of electric power to charge it up, will go sky high! Also I think about how much the retail cost would be! People are out to make money fast these days. Then there's replacement parts cost. Just because the wholesale price is low doesn't mean the repair cost would be low! (Who's going to fix it when it breaks?) The transition from gasoline to electric is going to be difficult, and will take time for society, to train electric vehicle mechanics in every place, that combustion engine parts and mechanics are located. (I know; the parts can be sold online, and delivered to where need be! Is this like buying a disposable recyclable vehicle?)
