I have the same style 'Scragg' mill, just a larger version with a hydraulic powered/cable type table feed. mine was built by Balmar of Saginaw, Michigan. It has 30' of track and can run a 12' 6" log.

Do you know how much some of the less serious runs have changed like the toe, lower nolich, FB 11, lower pigeon? Glad to see you on the water and safe, I'm Michael , the guy who normally paddles the zen 3 on the river paddlers channel
@PALSRideАй бұрын
@@virginiaboysriverexpeditio2293 well the toe is different but still class 2/3 but lots of wood on the banks in so places I’ve not been on the others but some places are better and some worse I have a friend who went down the cane River and he thinks it’s better just be safe

Thanks dude, I might wait quite awhile before I come back to kayak, couldn't help out like I wanted down there I'm in Virginia raising our 4 yr old grandson. Gotta put him 1st at that age

Yeah, But how much do you weigh? I think that Indra would be like paddling a cloud for lighter guys. I'm a stocky 230 and push hard on that Indra and it is so forgiving and begs for more! It rolls but ya know.. the more stable a boat is the harder it might be to roll. Another thing is that that Indra has been a huge confidence builder for me because of how hard you can push it on edge and how well it responds to really aggressive paddling. I'd like to paddle the Reactr too but I'm having so much fun in my Indra that the only other thing I feel like paddling is a half or full slice sor something sportier and not as forgiving.
@PALSRide4 ай бұрын
Yeah, I’m hoping one of my buddies that I paddle with a lot gets a reactor so I can do the same run and it and Indra but I do like the endra it’s very flowie

@@scottbikerfx I really like the look of Pyranha and the reviews on water but the Reactr back band with whatever that parachord set up looks really cheaply done to me and i'm not going to spend the $$ with that impression.
@scottbikerfx7 ай бұрын
@@stellarmetalworks9850 after a short test of ReactR M in Germany I can say that the paracord holds well. Hookers in standard keep the knees well but I don't like small hippads - I prefer Prijon or Dagger. Overall the outfit is better then in scorch but not the best...
