I have no idea who produced them, but they had more hits that didn't even sound anything like each other, than any group of their time.

Very handsome man with a hell of a voice. The clips were from a 1969 movie with Mary Tyler Moore. He looked great in that movie, yet only 8 years later and he was gone. Life had to be tough for him at times. It’s unimaginable what it was like to be Elvis. The clip of him walking down the street, stopping and turn ing around to go in the building. Had he been an unknown walking down the street like that, he would still have stood out. He was just that good looking. Being so famous would have made it nearly impossible to have a normal day out and about.

Tommy James and the Shondells may be the best-kept "secret" in popular music. At a time when singles (45 rpm records) outsold albums, these guys sold more singles than the Beatles for a good stretch. Just good music. I have their greatest hits album and it's solid gold music from beginning to end. This particular song, though, has always been my favorite among them. Great memories.
