The same Tom loyd who put a couple of v6 and v7 problems up at Blackstone edge? Coq siq and too orangey for crows I think they're called.

You cheated the Green Traverse. You have to drop down onto the small crimp rail with manky feet and make the dyno upwards. No reaching past. And no heel hooking the top! Otherwise you might was well just walk along the top!

Both versions get 7A. Imo the strict line climbs like shit

It feels like V2-V4 in that gym is about a V0 in Fontainebleau, haha.

Sliders in the states are a type of small burger that you’re able to slide into your mouth easily, that are typically greasy so they slide right back out the other side. Your fun American fact and comment contributing to the algorithm.

I like this video because it gradually builds to the dyno, other videos are like Step 1: Find a dyno, Step 2: Do the dyno

Easily one on the coolest climbing videos I've seen, very inspiring. These Comp boulders are so clever and technical. The difficulty here is evident, you have to be so physically in shape and competent to find the solutions.

We actually tried to begin with because I think that’s how it’s been set! But it was such a huge cross through for most of us because of the position you wanted your hand to end up in so we found some alt beta 😁

I can really appreciate the flow that you have but this gym seems extremely soft, that first yellow "V7+" was done perfectly but in the Japanese gym I frequent, that would be maybe a V5, haha. Great vid!
@Gannicius2 жыл бұрын
Have you climbed the problem? Videos can't portray the angle, the holds, the friction etc.,
@kft47642 жыл бұрын
A skilled climber tends to make hard moves look easy. It's easier to tell on video when something is difficult if somebody struggles on moves, but much harder to judge if they smoothly send it. Particularly hard to judge with this guy's climbing style too. It's very controlled and precise. No excess force generation and uncontrolled body swings to hint at the level of exertion.
@debetterest77732 жыл бұрын
@@kft4764 That's an amazing way to put it, he's probably one of the most static climbers I've seen. I remember seeing Honnold send an outdoor V9 like it was a V2 but from just looking at the holds here it does seem like nice holds for a V7. Great take on it!

I climb at this gym it’s not soft, harder than other gyms in the area in my opinion

So weird how so many gyms seem to have wild ranges in climbs, like if you're beginning or even intermediate theres such a big range between a v2 and a v5

This style of video is so nice, calming almost, just a great climber doing what he likes, and a bit of sharing the thoughts and improvements on a climb, very cool. And his footwork is so delicate, probably because outdoors footholds are mostly very small so you'd have to be way more precise than indoors.

I haven't watched to the end yet, but surely for the green one with the big start hold, it's a right foot pogo, plant on the volume, then roll over to the big slopy hold with the left hand. So a big dynamic roll over move?

Looks like it but I guess it's always hard to say without actually trying the route.

Nice vid and solid climbing, but it would've been sooo much better with some extra b-roll of the actual route showing what she's talking about before actually climbing the route.
