Set Dissolved Color Alpha to 255 and set the Dissolved Texture with whatever texture you're wanting to transition to. Then you can skip the step where I've added an Object Toggle action in the VRCFury toggle component, but everything else would be the same.

@@naoki7566 Poiyomi only allows for 1 dissolved texture, so no. There might be other ways like utilizing a flipbook, but I'm unfamiliar.

This is so cool and I have always wanted to make dissolve toggles. However this method doesn't appear to work for me it only turns my clothing white even though the alpha is set to 0 and I tried every position possible.

Make sure the material type is set to Cutout. Reapply the texture too.

ummm context im trying to make an avi dissolve with the clothing but the clothing doesn't toggle off it shrinks how would i dissolve the shrunken clothing in my avatars body?

For renderer, you drag and drop the game object from your Hierarchy that you're trying to animate. In my tutorial, I dragged and dropped the Pants game object, for example.

Instead of using normal Dissolve, use UV Tile Dissolve. Though this is pretty advanced and requires your UV maps to be properly set up for it in Blender. This would get you on the right track: kzbin.info/www/bejne/eZfTm5aFlK6GetUsi=yeQh6Oo8BAb__YFy

Could you do a tutorial on how to transition between outfits? Let's say I have 2 outfits on my avatar and I want to toggle one of them and the current outfit will do a dissolve intercalated with the one I want.

Good suggestion. You would use Exclusive Tags and sometimes Run To Completion in the toggle options. I'm still learning all the best use cases for these. So once I'm more familiar with it, I'll be sure to post something soon!

Looks like Gitlab changed the download link, I've fixed it now. Also this is a sourcemod server-side plugin, therefore I post on their official forums, which is Alliedmods. Gamebanana is normally meant for client-side related things such as mods, maps, textures, etc.

While ping can definitely effect how many of your inputs are networked to other clients, that is not the only thing that's happening here. VRChat interpolates all of the IK data received from the network and smooths it. Have a look at the video description. The video title is to put it in layman's terms.

I'm gonna try using ovr smooth tracking with my imus tonight. Since vrchat can only grab so much to smooth it server side, adding extra ticks interpolated might give vrchat enough to work with to smooth it out more. (Imus update notoriously slow atm, 50fps atm so fast movements are lost both client and server side afaik)

@@CupOfNoodlesMusic or you can test that out yourself - slimetora allows you to use the haritorax wireless (and wired in the beta version) trackers with slimevr server so you might be able to see better results with it (slightly biased though because i'm a dev for it lol)

This is called client interpolation. VRChat records a certain fraction of your inputs based on what info your client captures to send to the server to be networked to other clients (like fbt tracking, movement input, picking up / throwing stuff) and then applies smooth transitions between the limited info it has captured (lerping). This is done for network performance reasons. You can see this applied to the physics of an object that someone else throws as well. That's why objects that people interact with can appear laggy, but then move smoothly once you throw them.

exacty. we can't expect everyone to have a GBs internet connection just for vrchat because very single move and animation frame of every character get's send over at 60 fps.
