If yall want to try IVF again, would you consider a different clinic? I find it odd they kept you on letrozole in your IUIs and didnt test you on clomid. I think it's wise that you are taking care of yourself, and I hope yall get better news soon.

With Lunar New Year around the corner, I wanted to make this traditional Korean drink. It’s rather simple to make it and I love to have it sitting in my fridge in case I want a sweet treat in the middle of the day. Happy Lunar New Year everyone 🫶 FYI, I had the pot outside on my porch because I wanted it to cool faster 😜 Sujeonggwa Ingredients: ~5L water ~5 sticks of whole cinnamon ~2 pieces of ginger, peeled, and sliced ~2 Cups brown sugar (more if you like your drinks extra sweet) Pine nuts, garnish Directions: 1. Peel the whole ginger and slice it into smaller pieces. 2. Rinse cinnamon sticks under running water. 3. In a deep pot, add the water, cinnamon, and ginger slices and boil over high heat. 4. Once it starts boiling, reduce to medium heat and boil for another hour and a half. 5. Using a strainer, remove cinnamon and ginger from the pot. 6. Add brown sugar and once it’s all melted, turn off the heat. 7. After the sujeonggwa has sufficiently cooled down, store it in the fridge in an airtight container. 8. Whenever you want to drink it, pour it into a teacup and garnish with pine nuts. www.sayweee.com/ko

Hey Angie! Thanks for sharing your journey. It's true, everything does NOT revolve around babies. There's SO MUCH MORE TO LOOK FORWARD to in life before a baby does come along! I too am struggling but I'm not as strong as you so I won't be getting an IVF, IUI was already a pain in the ass for me. I'm also taking a break from all this and when the time is right I think God will bless me accordingly, even if it's not a human baby, I'm ok with that! I've learned that there's so many things to nurture in life so we should start doing that instead.

Sorry this happened to you. Although I dont understand how they retrieved one egg? Here in the US they monitor and look at the eggs through out the stims. Plus your antral follicle count (AFC) should give a good idea on how many number of follicles you have and the eggs retrieved should be closer to this number. Did they give a reason why they were only able to retrieve one egg? Was the IVF protocol used not right for your body?
