After a few listens I’m Trying became one of my fav songs of his. Although it’s short, the chord progression gives a real sense of finality, the raspy singing works best here, and it’s some of his most introspective songwriting. Fire.

I have that song on repeat and I don't think I'm ever going to skip it when it comes on. It simple but has so much emotion behind it. Definitely on the same level as FIND YXURSELF for me.
