Thx for this I was thinking of making one for a Christmas gift so it’s perfect do you know any colors that would go great with it like to paint it? Or do you think it would look cool with glow in the dark paint?

Thank you so much, Yes clay lanterns are safe with fire as far as you keep it away from children / windy places or situations that help the candle to spread fire outside the lantern. Also make sure to place the candle inside the lantern leaving enough room and then light the candle.
