Your mode is outstanding! Like many others I came to it after a recent IGN video. Before that I was only familiar with Knights of the Force, but it's much simpler in many ways. Your work with animations, textures, map building is astonishing. 2020s game design in a game from 2003! But I have a question. Is there a way to make interface look like in this video in Update 6? I was never a fan of original Jedi Outcast and Jedi Academy round things, but with your mod there's so much information to track, I'd prefer straight lines.

For controller users turn always run off so that u actually CAN run with a controller. (Weird right)?Attack should be RT Alt.Attack.should be LB lightsaber style should be RB (pressing Rt and LB together will do a form special attack) Kick should be RS (clicked in right stick) for force ability use try for Up d pad. I know most folks recommend mouse and keyboard but I much prefer to play it this way. All the best and thanks for this amazing video

The JK2 mod addon thing is kind of broken, the first mission has bugged cutscenes and error messages and no enemies...

I set the mod up before and it didn't work, did a fresh install and in the wizard it won't let me change the file location of where I want the mod to be installed, any help would be appreciated thanks

Try manually installing the mod. You need to download Update 6 parts 1 and 2 and the patch. Extract everything and place it in your Jedi Academy GameData folder.

First off. Fucking amazing mod ❤ second. Is there any way ye could make a guide for installation on steamdeck/Linux? I managed to get the full game working and dark forces 2 but for the life of me I can't get jedi outcast working no matter what I do and I was following along step by step so I'm completely stumped 😅 even if not though at least the rest of it works xD

Can't help with installing the mod on Steam Deck but a user has made a video that might be useful here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/eIOuhmx4Za6Dg8k Jedi Outcast should involve the same steps, with copying and renaming the asset files.

Hello. I have been experiencing a problem with the JKO add-on. I'm sure you have been made aware of this problem on Discord. However, I will share what I am experiencing with you. I have downloaded and installed the files exactly how it is shown, even with the "0-" pk files, and when I load them into the JKO addon, there are no NPCs in sight. A red error message at the top of the screen appears and says "couldn't load," etc. Like I said, I'm sure you have been made aware of this on Discord, but I'm just sharing my experience.

Have you returned Dooku's signature animations with his makashi sword style?. I deleted the past few updates because it didn't. (It was a bit OP , but thats the point, Dooku is the star when I play).

Hold block to randomly redirect shots, hold attack and block to more precisely redirect the blaster bolt back at the attacker.

Set the mod to use your screen resolution. Start the game, go to settings, video settings and then try to change the resolution.

MD Mode is basically just JKA combat but with the ability to manually block. MD Advanced mode introduces more features like stamina and block points. If you want to use manual block, I recommend using the advanced mode.

How do we use controller support? I’ve been using software that can emulate console controllers and it still doesn’t work. Keyboard for me is hard to play with but I’ll give it a shot. Nice work

So for some (me) the installer doesn't let me choose where it installs and it chose a really old steam directory I don't use anymore, so it installed into a completely empty folder, luckily it was as easy as dragging over the modded installation to the vanilla and replacing anything it asked about.
