What machine is that you are using? I've never seen an automatic pressure foot. I keep having a problem where the fingers either don't pull through properly like they are stuck on each other or they end up a lot thinner/shorter than intended though I take the excess off like you did. (I am using patterns found online that have been shown completed.) I must be missing something.

Hello Cyrus, I have a Espire Baby lock. It has the option to lift the foot when you stop sewing. Comes in real handy. What are you using for a turning tool? That might have something to do with it?!?

Hello Wooly, thank you! There are many books on Needle sculpting. I couldn't recommend just one. Hope this helps.
