I had a 3 stalk lucky bamboo plants. Now I am down to 1 stalk as all the rest turned yellow to pale on the outside. Now the last stalk I planted by itself is turning to yellow stalk with 1 green but turning yellow leaf left. I have kept it watered but not over watered. Now its drying and I don't know what to do. Rain water didn't work neither did tap water left out over night. I have had the plant in a South facing window with indirect light. I am totally at a lost of what to do.

When my dad passed earlier this year, I took over his bamboo and it's doing well. However, it's only ever had 2 stalks. How can I make it grow more? The 2 current ones are growing tall and healthy but I wish I could grow another one that wraps around them. Also, he's always had it in a clear vase with pebbles (no soil) and I'd like to keep it like that if possible.
