yes, as per testing that's how it does to get the png files, which I believe CSP resizes uploaded images when you export your brush (sut) files into 300pixels or less

Just repeat the process if it doesn't open in app the first try, also check in gallery if a back up was restored. You can also copy the hsd file to your device folder and simply import or share and open in hipaint

Depending on file explorer you use if different from sample video, long press the hsd file and look for a share icon button to open in hipaint, swipe to the right to search for hipaint icon or copy to your device folder, then import to hipaint

@@SpookyKipper yup what I meant was its not that old enough to be at least a decade since beta around 2021 and sad 2025 will stop getting support but at least we had some run with WSA than from old school emulators, yes credits to those keeping the kernels and gapps up to date.

@@casandrac.3454 you're welcome, it also works just dropping to your gallery aside from canvas. hbr brushes most likely are few, you can check kipzi gumroad and I made a few brushes as well at if interested to use perplexpixel.blogspot.com/p/brush-download.html but nonetheless, you can start with the default brushes and make some changes on its settings and replacing the brush source image and texture. or get some from other drawing apps like csp and create in hipaint kzbin.info/www/bejne/l3Wtp3qam6hroLc

Three options you may try if it works with your System 1. Old school using Emulators like: "Bluestacks", "Nox", "Memu" etc -download and run emulator -go to play store and download app as normal as in android devices 2. If your Windows have built in Windows Subsystem for Android (WSA) -download first hipaint in your android device and extract the apk -install ADB in your PC and sideload the app (the apk you extracted) -I tested this in Windows 11 Home Edition but the app won't run even after successfully sideloaded -if you have a different OS version then you may give this a shot 3. If #2 step won't work but your OS supports WSA, you'll need to install a modified WSA that could run Play Store -download and extract WSABuilds from github that is compatible to your OS -extract the zip file to WSA folder -click and run the "Run.bat" inside the folder -click continue if pop up window appears -sign in to your Play Store -download the app as normal -this is the one I used in Windows 11 Home and easiest one video on WSABUILDS Installation kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z2LPqGB_fbV7aaM or kzbin.info/www/bejne/pJeWeapsoq6YgKc best of luck!

Depends entirely on the user that would fit its needs using these tools, both SB and HP have its strengths/weaknesses the former may be more expensive (in windows/mac) as the latter may be cheaper. SB may have more free brushes to use whereas HP have animation which SB (mobile) don't have (only in pro windows/mac). HP have clipping mask while SB doesn't have it, HP supports a reference window whereas SB only supports import of image as your reference. Overall, both have free versions to test and decide later which one is best for your needs. I just give HP a + vs SB since it's cheaper and almost have the functions/features you need to start your digital artwork (except on limited brushes that you need to make your own if you're used to have custom brushes as you paint/draw).

Or using default WSA via Amazon appstore in Microsoft store and sideload apk via ADB. (I tried this but won't open in Win 11 Home, not sure for other Win version if there's an issue) Last resort: using emulators (bluestack, memu, nox etc) 👍
