Love your log deck / bucking table! My biggest thought in watching this, I think I’d want to extend out one or both ends just a hair shy of where the first/last round should start or end and maybe keep a sledgehammer nearby to flush up your cleanest end with that outside edge to get your first/last log lengths right.
@dogwoodspringsoutdoors11 күн бұрын
Thanks for checking it out! So far I’ve been able to slide the logs into position without too much effort if they weren’t in alignment. Most logs now I cut to the exact length for this, but if not I just cut off excess once it is on the deck.

Great video. Are you touching the second power cord to the "control" post? My tractors control is a small flat connector
@dogwoodspringsoutdoorsАй бұрын
Sorry it isn’t a better camera angle there. If I’m understanding your question correctly, yes, it is going to the post to which the ignition would typically be connected. I’m just jumping it from the constant power source.

I've got a question for you about that 5310, I have the same machine. My hydraulic system moves really slow now do you think it's the filter and the screen and old fluid?
@dogwoodspringsoutdoors2 ай бұрын
@@popsblair1 Yep, but I t could be a lot of things or combination and you would just need to start ruling stuff out. Not enough fluid would be the easiest thing to check. If you have leaks you would likely know but pressure could be escaping. Definitely could be clogged filter, but also may be from worn seals, water or other contaminants in your hydraulic fluid, or your pump could be failing. Probably not everything but some things to consider. Hopefully it will be one of the easier, cheaper fixes. Thanks for checking out the video.

Jus got this kit for my boat project but was wondering where ur fuses are from ACR to the batteries cuz they look like they're connected straight to the post?
@dogwoodspringsoutdoors4 ай бұрын
Hey, thanks for checking it out. I used fuse block terminals from Blue Sea Systems, so it is a fuse that attaches to the battery post and then has it's own post. I apparently left that off my list of supplies in the video description, but I just went back and added it there with an amazon link. And here is the link as well: amzn.to/3UqMtnp

Hey Dogwood, this is a little Late, but turning the flange 180* won’t work because the lever would aim straight at the cylinder. You need to rotate it 90* for the control lever to be straight up and the bolt pattern won’t allow that. You could however fabricate a plate utilizing those two flange bolts (may need longer allen bolts) with a pivot ear if you will for the chain link and pin at the proper 90* angle which would be the six o’clock position. Hope this makes sense as I don’t explain things all that good. It is an easy fix so good luck with it if you haven’t already done it.

Thanks, and sorry I didn't get into that routing detail. I was trying to keep the video from being too long. The summit systems have pretty good diagrams even on their website for what hoses go where. They include it with their kits too. This may not be the kit you need, but you can see an example here. Just scroll down toward the bottom. summit-hydraulics.com/product/hydraulic-third-function-valve-kit-w-joystick-handle-for-tractor-loader-13-gpm/
