Jus got this kit for my boat project but was wondering where ur fuses are from ACR to the batteries cuz they look like they're connected straight to the post?
@dogwoodspringsoutdoors20 күн бұрын
Hey, thanks for checking it out. I used fuse block terminals from Blue Sea Systems, so it is a fuse that attaches to the battery post and then has it's own post. I apparently left that off my list of supplies in the video description, but I just went back and added it there with an amazon link. And here is the link as well: amzn.to/3UqMtnp

Thanks, this helped with my Kubota L4200. That center hydraulic cylinder gasket is tight and stiff. Was afraid it would tear.You gave me the confidence to go for it. I even practiced with the old one first. The rest isn't fun, but doable. This was the only video I found addressing that gasket.

Thanks for this video, I’m installing this system on my pontoon soon. Does the negative buss bar just get grounded back to the motor via its negative cable?
@dogwoodspringsoutdoorsАй бұрын
Correct, it does ground on the motor. Hope this helps you out. I've been really happy with mine since i added it. Thanks for watching.

Hey Dogwood, this is a little Late, but turning the flange 180* won’t work because the lever would aim straight at the cylinder. You need to rotate it 90* for the control lever to be straight up and the bolt pattern won’t allow that. You could however fabricate a plate utilizing those two flange bolts (may need longer allen bolts) with a pivot ear if you will for the chain link and pin at the proper 90* angle which would be the six o’clock position. Hope this makes sense as I don’t explain things all that good. It is an easy fix so good luck with it if you haven’t already done it.

Can you do a video on how to service the brakes?
@dogwoodspringsoutdoorsАй бұрын
I would like to. Unfortunately my model was before they started using brake pads, which are around $80/kit. The brake plate kit I need for my model is $930. It needs doing, but it will have to wait.

Sure would have like to see how you installed the hoses and to what? You got some good videos out.
@dogwoodspringsoutdoorsАй бұрын
Thanks, and sorry I didn't get into that routing detail. I was trying to keep the video from being too long. The summit systems have pretty good diagrams even on their website for what hoses go where. They include it with their kits too. This may not be the kit you need, but you can see an example here. Just scroll down toward the bottom. summit-hydraulics.com/product/hydraulic-third-function-valve-kit-w-joystick-handle-for-tractor-loader-13-gpm/

You had the same problem Im having =,I did almost exactly the same things you did. I thought it was a fuel problem, did the same things fuel lines carb etc.The problem is when you check the ignition fire it looks good. What you have to do is check right when it fails, it looks weak or not at all sometimes. Haven't changed mine yet thanks for the help.

Blue and brown on your right doesn’t make any sense. It’s either ones in the left and ones on the right which one
@dogwoodspringsoutdoors5 ай бұрын
I just had to unhook two wires from their connections at that part you are referencing to finish getting that cover off. One wire was blue and white and the other one was brown. Looking back at it I see that it could be confusing and even sound like I was talking about more than two wires. I was saying "blue and white on my right" so I knew that when I hooked them back up, that wire would go on the right side connection vs the left. Hope that helps and thanks for watching.

the reason I suggested that is my TRACTOR has a lever that is too short... So i added a LONGER steel rod to it by means of a clamp and a couple of small hose clamps >>>Works great now I do not have to break my back trying to LEAN over to engage the Lift hahahhah . You did just Fine ...Thanks
@joelfoster35766 ай бұрын
Why not just add a vertical part to the handle with a couple of clamps ...an "L" shaped handle would do it and you do not have to take the thing Off the pump ???? You can also shape the added part so that it is forward then you do not have to reach so far to move it ...BTW you might even be able to find a piece of pipe that FITS the original handle ????

I definitely think that would have been the best option. Did later determine that existing lever would not fit it turned. I ended up selling that splitter last year and got one with a log lift. Thanks for checking it out.

Thanks for the review. Just so you know any ~3.7v lithium ion battery can be replaced with any lithium ion battery, all the charging protection/regulation is controlled on a small circuit board thats wrapped inside the respective batteries. You can upgrade or downgrade the mAH capacity on the batteries too, so you can replace the 2000mah with a 4000mah if you want double the capacity, it just has to fit inside. This usually requires soldering though, and make sure the red wire doesn't accidentally touch the white.
