Rethmic sound of steam engine. Really nostalgic !!!

It's 2024, no one is going to pay £35 for the DVD, put the full film here on KZbin and monetise it 👍

I am 39 year old 👴 and i was a kid when these steam engines were phasing out, but 😮 sometimes in Amritsar railway station, these black monster would cross in front of you, these beautiful machines were intimidating for a 5 year old. The sound and presence was amazing, you could feel the heat 🔥 .

At Stratford you could always find a stack of Split Headcode early versions of the Class 37 from 37001-37119 & for all spotters who lived in the West of the Country these were rare & not often seen, Stratford was a fine depot always with 50-70 loco's on shed over the weekends.

Whoever built that tunnel did an amazing job that some of the bricks might have melted, but the tunnel didn't collapse. We are talking of tunnel builders in the 19th century

Absolutely iconic series that inspired my recent 3 part model series. That music (Sporting Chance by Zack Laurence ) is as iconic as the content for me. No dvd player here and my VHS has gone so do you have plans to make all this series available for downloading?

Thanks for your kind comments, we will work through the titles at sometime for download, not sure when yet though.

Hi, I make bengali audio drama videos. Recently I have been making an audio-drama that is set in the 1900s' Indian rural areas and I need some video footage to portray that as authentically as possible. This video clip seems to be perfect for that reason. If you could give me permission to use part of your clip for my project, I would be highly grateful. I will of course give your channel the proper credit in my video. Please let me know your decision as soon as possible. Thank You 🙏

Truly remarkable, and glorious footage, it almost can transport a person. I cannot help thinking that I had been born at least 20/30 years earlier to have witnessed, and enjoy these wonderful pieces of machinery that changed the world. I get non stop joy/pleasure from the guy work of those past who had initiative to record, and document a rapidly changing landscape, in terms of the transport of goods/& passengers ,and machines /locomotives to do the job more effectively /efficiently. I miss it all. Thank you so much for the upload. It brings so much joy, and pleasure. Derek.
