I have no idea what I was watching when I first started but this turned out to be amazing I’m not a person to go on a boat of any sort so first I thought I was going to be bored but it was the most fascinating documentary that I have ever watched so thank you so much for sharing

Just an idea, if you had a length of tubing for breathing, perhaps 20ft, and attached it to the snorkel on one end and a stanchion on the other, you could do the entire bottom in one pass without any expensive scuba equipment and without having to come up for air.

One thought (paraphrasing the Duke of Wellington) ... sailing resembles nothing so much as gambling. Nice vid, BTW.

very nice. it´s good to see a non professional sailor (is it?) to be on a Transat. How did you manage to have the sponsorship? any special advise to me? I´m a sailor and I am one of the Projecto Azores sailors who are trying to get sponsors for a Tour de France or other events. Regards, Nuno

Outstanding to be young and love racing and the sea like that - I'm envious of your future. I feel like a kindred spirit as I sailed from Florida to Alaska mostly alone a couple of years ago, including sailing solo from Galapagos to Hawaii. I can't imagine sleeping in 20 minute increments for 30 days. I was sleep deprived for four days and started having auditory hallucinations. And yes, my biggest fear was going overboard. Thanks for the beautiful video and good luck.

Very nice video. I am not sure how you will use the chart in the cockpit without some sort of chart board, when thew wind is strong. Also, how do you keep the papers on the cabin door dry? Also, how about using a jib downhaul to avoid some foredeck work? Good sailing.
@msf60khz17 жыл бұрын
This is much more like real sailing - the smaller the boat the more the fun. I like the traditional jib reefing and crawling on the foredeck. I am a dinghy cruiser and can see the similarity! I was trying to see exactly how the jib sheets are attached to the sail.
