Great vlog! I usually tell people it's like going from a Cadillac to a Corvette feeling. That preload adjustability is so easy.

Hey man I’m also 6’1 210 recently jumped back onto a touring Harley, my issue isn’t reach or leg room it’s seat height. My knee is to high compared to my hip and I get instant hip pain after five minutes (I can ride my old shitty shovel with crap suspension all day with no pain). Does the tall boy make you sit higher or just back further? I was thinking of gettin a air topper and putting a bunch of air in it to get me up higher 🤷‍♂️ I’d like your opinion on that if you get a minute thanks

After he gave me my ticket, I gave him a poker chip from the Tour of Honor and asked if we could prayer. He told me that if I had kept going, he wouldn't have chased me. I said that I earned the ticket (over 70 in a 45, he wrote for 63 in 45). I agree, be nice to him, most of the time he will be nice back. (Unless his wife just ran off with some biker who rides a bike that looks like yours...)

Excellent points and very well relayed. I've seen a lot of SPOTS mounted to bikes, just like the tourniquet, when you need the SPOT the most there may very well be no getting to your bike. The worse the situation is the more likely you are going to be limited to what you have attached to your body. As important as having the right equipment is, knowing how to use it is even more important. Spending a day getting some trauma first aid training might take a day away from riding now but it is almost guaranteed to save a life at some point down the road. Might be your life, might be my life, might be a strangers life but you will probably use it. Regarding tourniquets I would also mention there are a lot of styles of tourniquets out there. The one feature that stands out as making a tourniquet most effective at being able to stop the bloodflow in the most situations is a windlass. Wether it is an original part of the tourniquet or an improvised windlass such as the carabiner Riot has in his hand, a windless increases the likelyhood of being able to stop the bloodflow.

Great points all around. I keep a good First aid kit in the saddlebag. I'm going to get an additional Tourniquet to keep on my person while riding. We need to figure out how to grow this Channel. You provide great information in these reviews.

Never realized about keeping a tourniquet on my body as well as the clot pads. I have the clot pads in my first aid kit, but I will keep them on my body from now one. As an Eagle Scout, both my boys are Eagle Scouts, and I was a scout leader for many years, BE PREPARED! As for the Spot, I LOVE my SpotX with spotwalla and never leave home without it set up for my ride. My wife keeps a watch on my rides. If something happens and it appears that I have stopped moving for too long, she will call. MedJet (discount with BMW Owners Group), another of those "Don't leave home without it!!!"

I have that headlight, I still run an aux light on my crash bar, there are some grey spots on the dark roads with that light, unlike the Harley light which will have black spots. I like those windshield lights, i'll have to look into those. Thanks!

I now have all pro beam custom dynamics all the way around. And they are very impressive. Along with the pro beam adaptive headlight. The best part of them also is the customer service. They stand 100% behind there products.

Gotta agree. I went down 3 years ago. Landed on a log at the bottom of a ravine. Got busted up pretty bad below the neck but my modular helmet saved my life. They would have released me from the hospital after a few days but because of my brain bleed they kept me for two weeks.

I had the same klim helmet when I went down in this years hokahey. Held up really nice with a few deep scratches. Was going to get the same one but was out of stock. I got a new Hjc rhpa 90. Carbon helmet but still in the market for a better one. Been looking at the new ruroc but want to see reviews before I get one.
