"relapse is actually a sign that the end of their use is coming close" what are you even TALKING ABOUT?!?!?! Nonsense.
@Zack_Taylor2 күн бұрын
I mean it literally doesn't make sense. If they hadn't relapsed they would already have been at the end of their use. It doesn't even parse.

@@DrdallasbraggNo it literally does not make sense as a sentence. Its contradictory. The definitions of the words do not go together. Really just repeat that sentence and think about what the words mean. Maybe your overall message is correct (I don't know) but the sentence is broken.

WOW! This discussion is definitely more relatable than the str8 environment that dominate sober interactions when discussing sobriety. I relate to the green VS white and many of my prior sponsors stated the same issue of zero tolerance of any kind. I've worked a program that works for me. Thank you for this podcast Dr Dallas. I saw the movie and wow... thank you ❤

Great interview, informative. Before your podcasts, all I had to watch was the "Soft White Underbelly" series, scary more than helpful !!! Very deep interview.

That's so interesting you say this because when I relapse people can't believe that I'm able to pick myself up and be stronger than I was before. They think that I should stay in this constant sadness and need for forgiveness

@Drdallasbragg My recovery journey has been since 2011. I had had a couple relapses that lasted a day or two earlier this year so I checked in to an outpatient facility but this is more of a focus on mental health, there were some people there that didn't have an addiction at all. There I have been diagnosed with ADHD, which I've had my whole life we didn't know, PTSD trauma sexual trauma

You speak the truth I’ve been sober from the pills that hospitalized me multiple times for 6 years and it’s been 4 years since I had to be resuscitated to get me to breathe again from being black and blue to a coma after being able to get oxygen back into my brain from my sleeping pills and I now to this day still take them as I’ve been prescribed to and I’m glad someone who can verbalize what it’s like to relapse and to eventually stop relapsing and to stay strong while understanding what it’s like to be an addict from a personal point of view and I am now being strong at 20 years old!
