The insight that current LLM lacks grounding in visual world is new to me. I had the feeling that LLM is just doing the statistical learning and fitting to a distribution, and now the talk inspires me what the missing ingredient is! Also the generalizability of FiLM despite/thanks to the weak prior is amazing!

Thank you Lucy for your excellent presentation. I really do believe this is an important topic to research. I have been a 'troll' on the internet ever since it was possible to do so. I used to find it funny as one may with prank calls or the like. I still think it is quite humorous actually. However, I don't partake as often as I once did. I've spent most of my free time, sometimes the entirety of my weekends and evenings off over the last several years, Trying to explain to others online the complexity of what is actually happening here.
