I can't believe it hasn't been played in more badass movie scenes.

Very erudite and well spoken gentleman. Who knew?!

Let's face it. That tone sucks. Play the same riffs through a Les Paul, a dimed Marshall bluesbreaker and a little reverb and you'll say that's the Clapton I know. And miss.

My inspiration right there. Saw his "60 years on up road" tour. Hit the greatest live solo I've ever heard. Still amazing even in his 70s

For those who've never heard of it, look up May's "Star Fleet Project", a three song EP, the title track an Anime theme from a show his kids watched. May and Van Halen played together with a few other friends. It's not polished, but it's wonderful.

My son, Jade Lemons, asked me to teach him to play guitar when he was 12 years old. Man, he really took off! He had it! He was born December 18th, 1972, just so you can follow the timeline here. The first concert that I allowed him to attend without me and just his friends, was Joe Satriani. Earlier that day I took him to an autograph appearance by Satriani. Jade always had a magnetic personality and it showed. At that concert Jade somehow managed to get backstage and to actually meet Joe Satriani! And not only that, he got Joe's home phone number in Berkeley! Amazing son of mine! Jade went on to be a rather famous guitarist and musician. His first group, Injected, signed with Island Records, had a top 20 MTV video, was only one of a handful of groups invited to be on the MTV College Campus Invasion Tour the same year, 2002, and they toured all throughout the U.S. and Canada before thousands of screaming fans! Their concerts are still on KZbin TV and the website! Jade went on to form his own group, Jade Lemons and the Crimson Lust. That music is still on Discover, and other sites. Sadly, Jade died April 6th, 2016. My heart is broken forever. We were very close. But he lives on through his music. I watch the videos often. Those are bittersweet moments for me. He was a remarkable young man who is loved by so many people.

I thought that at one point in his life he found it annoying and during the Perfect Strangers Tour on certain nights he refused to perform it. He did perform it in Toronto during that 1985 tour.
