Alot of interviewers like to think they're therapist and you are not entitled to people's private thoughts and private lives. Heck even a therapist doesn't force you to discuss things you are not prepared to.

An interesting question for QT about violence in his movies would be to ask how he prepares for scenes with funny violence vs scenes with horrific violence. Two scenes in Django that I choose to not watch(the slave fight and the dogs), but then so much of the violence Django inflicts is mostly pretty damn funny. That is a talented director to be able to pull off both of those in one film so well.
