Damn. To hope too soon. I had hoped the thymus would be shown a little less important. The programmed doom of our poor little thymus really gets my goat.

Half way through the video. Dr Textors' analysis of the 'thymus only' model for T cell education is right there worth the cost of admission, for me. Of course it could have made no sense, from the get go. I had bought into that concept, hook line and sinker, so thanks for the eye opener.

Hi. Just found this effort while doing a deeper dive into GLcNAc. Don't even know if that will be addressed here, but the first screen presented showing the intrinsic difference between the substrate of ideation and the substrate of immune function is brilliant and excellent. Looking forward to watching this.

Running Sheet: 00:00 Introduction by Kristen Aboud 03:00 Jesse Bloom 38:10 Questions from the Audience Take Note: B.1.1.529 "Omicron" emerged/manifested in an animal reservoir in Botswana via the "Wild Type" original strain of SARSCOV2. The reverse zoonosis infection occurred sometime between March and May 2020. The first human Index Case was in Botswana in Sep. or Oct. 2021. The "Omicron emerged in an Immunocompromised Person" and the "Undetected Remote Population in southern Africa" theories are incorrect.

The mof the virus spreading and mutating in many species with zoonoses/anthroponoses back and forth and between is one of the most glaring omission by the experts. Add to this the failure to recognize that this virus falls into the class of mostly RNA viruses where mammalian immune systems recognize the rapid mutation and evasion potential in some unknown way, and then chose to not continue to produce antibodies (which would be all but useless anyway), and to allow B and T cell memory to fade - minimizing the energetic burden to the immune system and body. And the resulting wave nature of the pandemic with peaks every 154 days on average +/- about 45 days.

I don't understand why there isn't more activity around developing a live attenuated vaccine based on the actual SARS-CoV-2 virus. There is only one such vaccine in development now as far as I know. The way I see it live attenuated vaccines provide the closest thing to natural immunity because they use a weakened form of the same virus to create a real infection. Isn't it preferable to mimic the body's natural immune response as close as possible? Also I understand that the immune response with live attenuated vaccines is very robust, creating both mucosal and systemic antibodies and T-cell response and typically lasts for the rest of your life. (I'm not educated in the medical field so I might have some of this wrong.) Also, I understand that all the basic vaccines that everyone gets are live attenuated vaccines such as measles, mumps, rubella, polio, flu. So, what gives? Why is essentially nobody looking at live attenuated vaccines for COVID-19?
@bsfbestshortfilmsonyoutube3 жыл бұрын
because we were told the new vaccines were cheaper to make. live attenuated would take too long when in the middle of a pandemic. and yes there are developing live attenuated vaccines since a year now. I have myself asked to be used in their trial. But I might be waiting a while yet. Google : codagenix live vaccine
@jonfklein3 жыл бұрын
@@bsfbestshortfilmsonyoutube Yes, Codagenix is the only one that I know of. FYI, here is an interview with a doctor about the Codagenix vaccine: kzbin.info/www/bejne/ZmmcaaCap9Kmn5I In the interview he suggests that Codagenix develop an oral vaccine instead of nasal. He also advocates inoculation by swallowing the live virus to create an infection in the intestines. I found it very interesting

Now the NIH intends to create dozens of new prototype pathogens. Does this include gain-of-function (GOF)? Is SARS-CoV-2 possibly a prototype pathogen? Barney Graham never explains how prototype pathogens are developed in all his presentations available on KZbin, and there are several. Moreover, is this kind of genetically-instructed immunity desirable? How about making natural immunity the priority for a change. Natural immunity means microbial balance, nutrition, sanitation and pollution control.
