Hi Danyn, I bought the 3W waterproof with galvos before I saw your video. It's very limited in dmx and sound mode does not work. Auto works but only with a few cheese cartoon animations and a few patterns. I does have nice resolution though. Now Shehds wont take it back. Do you think I will have better luck with it using the soundswitch dmx-usb dongle and their software? Was it easy to set up? Thanks !

I have the 3W waterproof as well. I do not have the problems with mine that you mentioned with yours. Sound active works fine and so does auto mode.

Awesome video man, super helpful. I have some of the same lasers and one thing that drives me crazy is how a split second as the que is triggered it shows a different preset. Can you elaborate a bit on how you got around that? Sounds like your putting some kinda attribute que before the actual que to trigger the laser?

You need a laser off attribute cue that only affects ch1 and sets it to 0. This will leave all the other settings untouched. Then you put this attribute cue in front of your actual laser cue so that all the other settings are saved but the laser is off. This way, when you actually want to use the attribute cue, it won't show the default since you're not on it anymore.

20kpps???!! I am a laserist. Prepare for buyers remorse as you try and run an animated pattern. Notice how this is a beam demo only? That is as good as it gets. I have a Shehds 1W animation laser with 25kpps. I regret ever dealing with Shehds as there are TWO Shehds online you have to deal with. If you deal with the American website, you will pay a comission on top of the listed price. If you deal with the Asian website, you will wait as long as 3 months to get it shipped. See my channel and the running of the Shehds 1W laser 25kpps & the New Feel Lasers 10W 40kpps to see exactly what this demo will not expose to the novice and budget-minded consumer.
