Carter was always so immature, always bragging always trying to impress people. He should've died, even if Lucy didn't make it, because it was HIS fault: the idiot was all over Abby that day and left a student alone with a nutcase! Also, I hated how they kept "compiting" for her, she's UGLY and she's a drunk. Luka is too much for her. I did feel great when she cheated on him, though; serves him right for being such an idiot and chosing her.

I loved that this forced relationship between Abby and Carter was finally over! they never coincided, they did not make a good couple! even she herself says that this was condemning from the beginning. Abby should never have left Luka... at least the good thing is that they're coming back. they are perfect together! Like Carol and Dugg. p.s: I hated what they did to Elizabeth at the end of this episode... very disappointing.

You can tell their attraction for each other was always lurking under the surface. Luka felt like he couldn’t have her but when Abby told him the carter thing was doomed from the start. It said it all. And when Luka made his move again on Abby, he said it’s been 7 years when they married and I’m like aww Luka. I always knew he was so in love with her and I never saw the love and that big smile Abby always got when she noticed Luka with Carter. ❤️ Kovač wanted Abby period and she didn’t hesitate when Luka tried again in 12❤️

I love this moment of Luby. A carter free Luby relationship and how Abby goes into hug Luka. Luka burying his face in her hair and when they lean in smiling at each other.. you can feel they love one another.

I always noticed how he wanted to inform Abby and even sweeter when he’s wanting to hug her and the way she’s looking at him and How he’s looking at her.. he really missed her this season. When he’s holding her here you feel the love the connection they have. I always hated Carter for interfering in their first relationship so I understood why Luka was so hurt over that. He never ruined things with Abby.. How she continued to care for him.. just made you ache for them.

This was another prime example of how Luby was meant to be even if if too early for a long term thing. Abby knew he was missing his kids and held his hand for emotional support and this was their break up period. Luka wanting to help that guy out only reminds you he has a heart of gold. The closeness Luby even has here is evident. I knew Luka didn’t want to break up with Abby back then but the annoying gnat of Carter would hurt anyone.. Luby is so sweet though. ❤

This actually started the hints of the Luby reunion in season 12. Abby giving Luka emotional support and how Luby I was mentioned. She got Luka to smile when he was down and when she saw him drunk in the bar she gave him a ride home and when he was rambling about how if he was hurt would anyone know who he is and Abby was like I would.

Hey it worked out for Abby and Luka here. When Carter left for Africa it finally closed the book on carby for good and it brought Luby back together. Once she became a resident, her and Luka were finally in the right spot to try again and they were insanely happy the second go around. Luka was pretending with Sam, he never loved her he just wanted children of his own again. Abby was finally in a good place for him to make his feelings known again.

Aww such a sweet early Luby moment. You can feel the intense connection and chemistry they have. The way she’s thanking Luka for being there for her during the court hearing for her mom and for everything. Even more sweet how he cooked a romantic dinner for her. The way she hugs him. ❤

You can definitely tell Luka has been wanting this for awhile and Abby couldn’t look at him when she said it was nice. And both of them looking back at different times wanting to open their mouth. Luka did some serious pining for her during their off moments so when this happened he really had to be clear about what he wanted. Thankfully he did next episode.

Luka is over the moon in this episode. He’s so excited Abby has come back into his life as more than just a friend and he pulled her aside to get her to guess what he got for that gift which was so sweet by the way super sentimental. The man is smitten as hell and it’s adorable to watch. Even Abby said them being together she hasn’t felt so great or laughed so much So long and it’s better than they imagined again. Yeah one big reason, Carter is gone finally.

Omg I had been dying for them finally kiss again and when it started I was like ahhh Luby. Such chemistry and the heat coming out of them right before they go up to Abby’s apartment to have sex.. such an intense connection and I’m like for the love of god finally ! No Carter to boot even better. About time Luka made how he feels known again. He did some serious pining for her.

Early Luby and it was obvious from first moment they started really talking they were really into each other. It’s even better that Abby had no idea she was speaking to her future husband and father of her son. Always makes me melt knowing she turned into a Kovac later. She had picked up a piece of mail after they just got married and said wow I’m already getting mailed addressed to Mrs. Luka Kovac.. 😁

Abby and Carter were still better (but only a little bit!) than Luka and that bitch, horrible, annoying Sam... I've never seen Luka so happy, cheerful and light-hearted with Sam, either. 😄

@@sadieyoung7397 Exactly! Carter always tried to change and "fix" Abby... They are way better as friends than as a couple, that's obvious. And I think Sam and Luka are _the worst_ and _the most annoying_ couple of the whole series!!! (After them comes Abby and Carter, of course.) I don't understand what Luka saw in Sam... Okay, I know, he wanted to settle down and have a family. (And Sam wanted safety, a father to her son - and regular sex...) I realized, by the way, that you are as hardcore fan of Abby and Luka as I am. 😄 I have a playlist about them, you can check it if you feel like and have time for it. Yay, I am obsessed with Abby and Luka! ❤ (Especially with Luka. 😇)

@@_Lane_ oh I love Abby snd Luka. Their love story is so sweet. As for Sam and Luka, his intentions were obvious he wanted a family but only one big problem, Alex was Steve’s kid and he couldn’t replace him and Sam was not looking for marriage or more children, she did say regular sex but I never bought she loved Luka or him for her, you can love the idea of someone. John claimed to love Abby but he loved this idea of who he wanted her to be in his head and when she wouldn’t live up to that he dumped her. Luka wasn’t just looking for just regular sex and it’s what broke them up. Sam didn’t want what Luka was wanting (love, marriage and children) not wanting another family is a big deal breaker and sam was unyielding on that. Their problem was that they didn’t communicate well and Luka didn’t let sam in just like how Abby pointed out to Carter that they never talk that his mouth may be moving and it may appear like they’re talking but when he’s done she has no idea what he’s thinking. Sam said same thing about Luka. Luka and Abby always could read each other well.

When she thought Luka was dead she actually tearing up never saw her get like that for anyone else on the show. I had been waiting for Luka to finally make a move and he did later and I was like oh thank god

Such a strong connection. Love how Luka gave her a signal he wanted to hug her.. the intense looks between them.. they loved each other and I was so grateful he got her back. He really did a lot of pining for her. Later when Sam dropped him he took the first chance he got to go for Abby again. ❤ he was so in love with her and she was with him..

I love Abby's quote what did he knock her up the minute he got there. Luka and Abby were a better match than Carter and Abby. The minute Carter realized that she isn't meant to be his wife he started treating her like crap as if it was her fault. Carter broke up with Abby through a letter which isn't classy.

They're both afraid to say they want more than friendship. You can tell the sex was great but they're both too polite to say so. Luka was hoping he'd hear Abby say something other than "it was nice," and she couldn't look at him when she said it or he'd know she's stumbling. Well, it was "nice," but with so much more attached to it. Early awkwardness is always so cute, but especially with these two!
