I remember the Pruitt hit. The next day Tommy accused the Astro’s of not trying and wanted the commissioner to look into it…… Nothing Never cared for Tommy thought he was a blow heart

I was there…he also gave a brief speech to the crowd, ending with “I know you don’t really hate me…you only hate yourselves-for liking me!” Baseball is less colorful without him.

Wow!!!! That's my father, pitching. Not one of his best outings obviously. I was too young to remember any of his very short career. Nice to see some video of him. Thanks for posting.

It’s wild to watch baseball lineups from the 80’s vs now. Where Ozzie Smith types bat 2nd to sacrifice, productive outs to move runners up, obp table setters for 3-4-5 spots. Now it’s like Mike Trout Shohei in the 2-hole I grew up between Chicago and Denver (then HS age moved to LA) so I was a White Sox and Cubs guy and Denver Zephyrs minor league affiliate until the Blake Street Bombers came into being (boy wasn’t that a blast! Big Cat, Bichette, Castilla, Burks, Walker). But yeah I remember the “Shawn-o-meter” for Dunston’s batting average (hopefully above mendoza line lol) and the cubs acquired The Hawk Andre Dawson. Sandberg Grace Leon Duhram RonCey. Playing little league and emulating different guys batting styles. Gary Sheffield was a big favorite of mine. Griffey Jr. of course. A young A-Rod All those Braves of the 90’s-Ricky Henderson and Vince Coleman stealing 100 bases! Willie McGee Strawberry and Doc Gooden Keith Hernandez smoking cigarettes in the dugout lmao! Baseball was awesome!

Oh what a legend Harry Caray was in his time during his time very bombastic very exciting and entertaining and controversial he was the ultimate Homer for the Cubs his Cubbies and a jewel of a Ballpark that the legendary Wrigley Field was for many Decades of only day games and no night games until the late 1980's incredible absolutely amazing and unbelievable!!!

Saw this game live as it happened. 2-hit shutout masterpiece by Dave Dravecky. On a side note, yesterday (8/10) was the 35th anniversary of his comeback game.

I’m Greg Minton’s youngest child. I was 2 when he retired and only remember his coaching days. This kind of video being posted means the world to me. Actually seeing my dad play ❤

I was eleven when the '62 series was played. To this day i still remember my grandfather laughing at the Game 4 headlines: "(Tom) Haller, (Chuck) Hiller, Hallaelujah, and the ((Marshall) Bridges came tumbling down"!

Those Giant teams from 86 through 90 had World title level lineups but minor league level pitching staffs.

Wonder how hard pitchers are throwing in 76? Baserunners with no helmets! Great to see those players I grew up with. Lure interview "Reserve clause must stay" Heating the seats never worked due to pipes freezing.
