This sounds very much like the Korean 뽕짝 music genre. Well done!

Any news about them? I'm looking for the members but can't find anything.
@xjapan38 жыл бұрын
No. They couldn't make any move without a lawyer because they were signed to a record label. I interviewed Marco, the guitar player. They were told they have to produce material and new albums and bring in revenue. Members left the band, and they tried to bring in new members but that was hard to do. Their best choice was to get out of the music industry. But yes, they are an awesome band and full of talent. Marco and Michela are the best. But this music industry takes souls. :( That's why they disappeared.

You don't need to! Feel it and make up your own story. Her performances are strong and fierce so I like to imagine she's coming for revenge like Lady Snow Blood.

@@deusexrockina She's complaing about the weather. The snow on the ground is blowing upwards so she has pinch the hem of her long red dress (to avoid getting snow blown up on her bare legs) is what she complains about on lines 1-2 of this song. This seems to be the era before cars and trains existed, so walking down the road was the only transport available back then. "The spring is too far away for me under this lead-coloured sky" she complains on lines 7-8, while the lead-coloured clouds are dumping snow on her. It seems that she needs to walk from town to town in northern main island Japan to earn income by performing exactly this type of song with this very instrument. She tells that the lyrics of the song she (usually) performs is telling that she has a love-interest man (who apparently remains inside a warm house in her home village, while she must walk the roads to earn income from her songs), and that her songs lyrics is attempting to tell that man that he's the one she wants. My impression is that they aren't a couple yet and his family is more affluent than hers. So she's aiming to marry upwards if possible, if she just can survive this damn winter weather and then make that man notice her when the spring comes. (Climate change didn't hit the winters of the world until 1990, so this was the era of real winter weather). +++++++++ I have English subtitled a different song of this Jonkara type. To find it, simply search on KZbin for this video title: 【R-18】 Tsugaru Jongara Bushi 【subtitles: English & Romaji】 津軽じょんがら節:トランス風アレンジ(鏡音リン) (Rin Kagamine)

Yoko Nagayama is amazing, stunning, beautiful, charming, elegant, and incredibly talented, both as a singer, and shamisen player. Love this passionate performance, and all the great Enka music she performs. Many thanks from a 63 y/o Caucasian Texas cowboy, Graham Lake, Texas.
