"subsonic" and "suppressor" all in one word. That's how you use vocabulism to curtail and systemize your life, brilliant work 🤘😂

Hey brother! I got a 10.5 AR and a tikka t3 in 308. Looking at your slings online and just wondering about sizing. Small, medium, large? What size would you recommend?
@finsling22 күн бұрын
@@steviesmith6819 Hey. Same size as the clothing you were. If you use M size clothing choose M size sling.

Yeah. I'll just keep my two point sling..

This is a much more elegant solution to having quick access to irons without a QD mount or an ineffective and non optimal seetthru mount.
@johnhek4191Ай бұрын
No thanks, 1 point sucks. Only run 2 point sling unless you hate your balls

I wish Tikka still made that stock. It seems very hard to find models in their line up with QD attachments. As of right now, I think the best base for a scout in the Tikka line up is the new Roughtech Ranch, with a 16" fluted barrel in .308. Perfect. Just probably need to toss it in a different stock and that's frustrating.

@@kalashnikovdevil you can make this kind of rifle basically from any normal bolt action rifle. Just ad QDs and other accessories on it.

45°offset irons on a bolt! Im looking to do a similar setup on a tikka ctr compact. Chop and thread barrel at 16". Carbon fiber stock and remount irons in an express setup.

Really like this rifle concept. It's not quite a classic scout but fits the spirit of the GPR and some features of the scout rifle.

What model Tikka is that? Also, when using the iron sites, are you at more risk of scope bite on the bridge of your nose?

I would just add a sling. I'm looking to buy a .308 scout rifle soon. Still very undecided on exactly which one 😅

FinSling is all about slings. Check out www.finsling.com
Just hear me out and don’t get mad at me, just some thoughts. Eyes lose contact with threat as your chin dips down to verify weapon has swung into position. Movement isn’t incorporated (which means you’re already dead in a real world firefight) and there’s a reason they run single or double point in front of the rig (carrier) or on weak side when doing patrols or engagements requiring movement for positioning. This is great for Hollywood, but I fail to see the real world applications aside from maybe just walking around your property. I will say It looks more comfy though than your typical sling though, that’s for sure.

This is kinda ehat i eant to build but with a vertical grip, not 308( personally dont like it without it being perhaps 1:7 twist), a 16" bbl decent mag capacity, either an 5x prism scope or an extended relief 2-7 or just irons and finally a flash light

I like it a lot. It's a budget money well spent option. I think this kind a scope is a genuin scout scope. Little pit of lens size (44mm) for dark and 9x for long range. And starting from 1,5 x is good for close range. Off cause lot more expensive scope would be better.
