I bleached my hair at home every couple of weeks during pregnancy and there were no complications or any changes other than my hair color 😂 I agree about ventilation even for non pregnant

I got pregnant with twins at 40 and can guarantee that I went through all kinds of issues to include preeclampsia and had to have an emergency c-section at 27 weeks 4 days into my pregnancy which led to my boys being born 3 months early, both had numerous health issues to include one having to have open heart surgery at 4 months old, and both are 6 now and both autistic one nonverbal level 3 and 1 verbal but not conversational as in he can't hold a conversation with you at level 2. Like Bonehead5463 said above make sure you have good health insurance because by the time we all left the hospital the bills were well over 1M dollars. I wouldn't give up my boys but I sure do wish I had the chance to have them earlier in my life. For the entire pregnancy up until a week before I developed preeclampsia my blood pressure was perfect and the pregnancy was perfect and then it wasn't.

Please correct me if I’m wrong. In other words, if youre going to do a geriatric pregnancy, make sure you have good insurance.

I still remember when my mother wanted sushi all her pregnancy until she gave birth to my sister in the delivery room, my father brought the biggest sushi dish in our area and ate it all because she missed sushi so much😂

I did a lot of bending and lifting just working in Health Care , I continued to work while pregnant with no pain or restrictions and lifting while pregnant felt the same to me as pre-pregnancy.

Same here. I worked on a med surg unit and lifted patients up until the end. Sometimes the patients would tell me I shouldn't be doing it... but my body was used to it long before pregnancy.

Okay? Doesn't mean it will be for everyone, some people smoke while pregnant and their baby comes out fine, doesn't mean there isn't a risk

I had this with my first (a boy) during my entire pregnancy and i lost weight, had to quit my job at 6m, and then went in every other day for banana bag infusions sometimes with anti nausea medication. My second was a girl and I was regularly sick but no where near as bad as my first, strangely enough after I gave birth I became malnourished due to lack of appetite. We shall see on the next!

My saint of a husband would go to the store, buy bags of ice, then throw it around until they were just chips I could suck on. I had been traumatized by hospitals from other health issues, and wanted to avoid having to go. This was the only way I stayed hydrated enough, sucking on one chip after the other. Carbonation hurt my throat. I lost 45 pounds while pregnant with my first child. The second child I only lost 15 pounds, and I know it's because I knew what I was signing up for to bring another human into this world, AND I had done a lot of research on HG. Eating roasted seaweed seemed to help my nausea, and unlike the ginger in my first pregnancy, I rarely vomited it back up! It's been almost 8 years, and I still can't stand ginger. But I will happily eat roasted seaweed!
