Thank you for the video. If you liked Raymond Llull, please read about the 20th-century Christian Missionary Samuel Zwemer. Zwemer named his only son after Llull.

In Karl Marx's Capital, he quotes an economist who says that if capital can get 100 percent profit, it will "trample on all human laws; 300 percent, and there is not a crime at which it will scruple, nor a risk it will not run...If turbulence and strife will bring a profit, it will freely encourage both." Welcome to capitalism..

So being neither a gangster nor a capitalism enthusiast the world went quiet about him. SCM must have kept him in print till they dissolved in 1970; it was an old one shilling book of theirs I found that brought Kagama to my attention a few years ago. The American Coop movement should know about him.

Top down modernization doesn't usually go well. And of course there are slums when the bureaucrats are scooping up everything that might improve the existence of the necessary tools for modernisation crowding into the cities.

Hard to imagine how Kagawa survived the warlike brutal Japan of the 30s 40s and which continued on, evading war crimes trials, through all the generations till right now ruling that country. And now we've had to listen to the hagiography of the dreadful Shinzo Abe. If that doesn't make you wonder why history went silent over Mr Kagawa in the years after WW2.

A brave gentleman with visionary ideas for any time Putting into practice his pacifism in relation to Japan's relations with both China, and America in 1940s was bold. Definitely due for a revival in the co-op movement in the West. His story could impress a lot of people.

Raymond Llull still the greatest European sage to discover by the English scholars. Francis Yates scratched the surface and now computer scientist are getting his inventions. But he was much more than that. Time to wake up 🙏🌞 for the English speakers, the Germans since Leibniz got it and created special departments just to study him.

Brilliant insight... wow. Why should the UK think about future generations? Why not just go for short term victories that would seem great and win headlines and votes... are we people of character? Very interested to consider how money is about relationship and how debt leads to servitude. This Biblical view of money and its use is very interesting. Thank you

Yes, I admire a widow who had already learned Sanskrit. Yet she balanced Indian culture and achievements against the problems/abuse of women, and the MESSAGE OF CHRIST. We share the Gospel, which means we share CHRIST, not British, Frencg, German or American culture/civilization. India is already/anciently CIVILIZED. She stood for these positives/truths. Om shalom!

Why did she get Baptised before taking up Official reformation activities .... why she had to be baptised.... why she had baptised the girls in her school.... so she was trying to upgrade her then social status by being a wealthy christian. its ok if she is called one of the successful evangelists.

Jesus, who is from and always with God ALMIGHTY. Relationship, do exist before me and you were created. To my brothers Muslims, who u truly love. Which our faith to the father ALMIGHTY holy one. Yes, indeed I agree that God can be truly one. But relationship, between two people already exist before us. Reason, why me and you were created. To have true relationship with no ceasing. Likewise, ALMIGHTY and his word has a true relationship with no ceasing.
