What happened to the song at the end? Did they not do that in the 90’s?

Haven't seen that fake warning, that VH-1 promo and logo, or that comedy show intro in years...and yet all of them seem like yesterday.

I wish I would tape this one hour King of the Hill season finale episode. But I was only 🔟 years old, and I couldn’t watch this. Because this is not age inappropriate for viewers under 14.

Brian is one of those actors im appluad he wasn't a bigger deal. he had some roles in some big movies. his comic timing was one of a kind but he can be a good serious actor too.

Talk about a memory rush. I remember watching this movie with this intro / exit laaaaaate at night as a little kid (who was very excited to see Annette O’Toole in this 😇)…. Wild to see this all these years later and my memory of it was EXACT. I remembered her pouring the popcorn on him and him jumping off the couch in celebration of his movie night. …nostalgia.

Thank you so much, I am so glad I recorded it. It feels like one of those moments that would have been completely lost media and something that would have felt like a fever dream. :)

I have this commercial on a recording of Discovery Channel's Big Science series. This special was about life before the dinosaurs. It's something I used to watch all the time when I was little. I'm glad I have these commercials to go with it.

I flew from Mexico to welcome the year 2000 in Paris. I was at the Eiffel Tower from noon, right at the front and center of the permitted area, sitting on the pavement while more and more people from many countries arrived by thousands over the hours. I had no idea what would happen at midnight, but I knew I had to be there because something unprecedented was going to happen. It was truly a life experience!

This is my absolute favorite tour of hers. The music selection, the simplicity of the design, the guitar playing throughout, the costumes, dancing, etc. And amazing special effects, from flying martial arts to dancers hanging from the ceiling by their feet. Yet people talked smack about the setlist for not having enough oldies, but it was so good. A great blend of her current albums at the time, with some songs from 1992, 93, 94, 95, and then Holiday (1983) at the end. For comparison, I didn’t care too much for the song choices on her Sticky and Sweet Tour, though I know people loved that. Lol. I would’ve maybe swapped out one song from the Drowned World tour and added "Vogue" or something. Could’ve fit in somewhere near the end. But I wouldn’t change anything about the DWT. Other than it should have toured to more cities, as well as Latin America and Australasia/Oceania.
