He was delirious from a sudden altitude drop and probably was losing consciousness causing the pilot to stumble. I believe he passed out ! Just my thoughts…

If I (was?)the captain….. I think the right word here would be WERE. Am I right?
@Easyaviationenglish6 ай бұрын
Good catch! "I was" is the standard past tense for "I am"."I were" refers to a hypothetical or imaginary scenario.

I know, what was that all about? 😮 we don’t translate anything in the ICAO test…
@fclanglais3 ай бұрын
@@tachacastilho Hi! It was a simulated test to show what the FCL ANGLAIS initial test looks like - something between Lingaero and the French DGAC tests. It was nothing more, but it's quite effective to make out ICAO language skill objectives before starting an aviation English training course, or just a first balance sheet.

Thank you so much ✨Collin✨! Thanks to you the pilots can see what it looks like, especially NNESs (Non-Native English Speakers). Thank you so much for your help, and congrats again for your performance 🖐😀

Why do they use "souls on board" and not "people on board" ?
@Easyaviationenglish9 ай бұрын
Great question! The term "souls on board" refers to the number of living bodies (both crew members and passengers) on board. Keep in mind, it's not uncommon for commercial flights to transport deceased individuals in the cargo hold.

I think that all bags taken with you in an evacuation (other than those you were already wearing) should be publicly destroyed, regardless of whether or not the cabin was actually damaged.
