If you don’t approach the spot optimally it has to make multiple adjustments I recommend picking a spot a bit further away from where your actual car is, at least I’ve noticed it gets in those spots with less adjustment in my personal use.

More hip turn. Backswing is on plane. Right thumb shouldn’t be pointing down middle of the shaft, it will keep your face open on impact on your misses. But the swing has a lot of potential!

I’d also say a bit more knee bend and less leaning over the ball could help too. But always remember, putting and wedges are where most of the strokes come from when you’re trying to shoot lower scores!

I’m a +2 handicap, not a swing coach. A good swing coach will help the most but in baby steps. Golf is frustrating and takes a lot of patience and practice. Nobody gets good fast. Keep working on your swing at the range but playing rounds always helps more than whacking practice balls
