I missed the stream. I have a NV200 and the last rule change of bolting down the toilet and having a cassette mean I can't convert it and get a green sticker. Very frustrating as the toilet I have was secured by a bracket. I think they need to offer some leeway as even with a toilet removed, my van design wouldn't have allowed 2 people to sleep in it. Frustrating because as a solo traveller, NZ is very expensive if you stay in hotels.

Loved this video and you should definately do more. I love the look of your vans. I really like the Toyota Vellfire. Is there much of a difference in "roominess" between the Toyota and the Nissan? I hope this doesn't happen in Australia. We have a lot of homeless people in old caravans, and if this comes in they will be reduced to living permanently in tents. Fine for those with plenty of money. Safety is good, but not when consequences like homelessness is the result.

Hey , Good Video and the camp fire is a great idea for this time of year. Not too worried about the green sticker rules , just the Blue Self containment one. Hope common sense will prevail... about Green Stickers , the cost and the vent issue.

I'd love you to please explain there are NO Green stickers any more. NO stickers required at all in fact. Stickers are NOT required or show any proof of being certified. Never have been compulsory. Its a Green Warrant please. Love you to change your terminology on that if possible please in future. The WARRANT card goes in the windscreen. Plus paperwork Certificate must accompany this to be shown on demand. Also NO new rule about TOILET NEEDED to be used when the BED is made up now. It ONLY needs to fulfil this criteria BE "USABLE WITHIN THE VEHICLE" and of course fit for purpose. NO inspector can demand the bed made up rule. This regulation doesnt exist now. It was added to old NZS5465 Standards only. Only USABLE WITHIN the vehicle. .. no bed space or mention of toilet USABLE at all times any more sorry...you could amend this in future. NO distances around toilet ..youre correct ...the PGDB only published recommendations which are NOT the law. Love your explanation of that. Campers DO need to carefullh check each regions Bylaws to ensure they avoid fines.
