A lot of these hits are now illegal thanks to them outlawing blindside blocks and hitting defenseless receivers.

Patrick was also drafted into major league baseball but didn't sign in 2014. His father was a pitcher in the major leagues. He's an amazing young athlete.

You know ball my guy. Lamar is by far the best player in the NFL, but he will never get the respect he deserves because many (white) fans don’t like the way he plays the game.

You had to be there. I was in high school at the time and every running back, wide receiver, kick returner and punt returner wanted to be him. The closest thing since was Linsanity.

Stop judging the guys for throwing hits with helmets in. It’s a natural instinct due to the rush of anger mixed with adrenaline. You can tell they don’t purposely do it bc when they realize what they’re doing, the start going for the opening, trying to take the helmets off, or just straight wrestling/hitting body shots. Also you aren’t a ref out there so stop judging them for trying to break up fights. Those men are worth big money and they got families they gotta provide for. They are trying to make sure everyone gets home safely and healthy

If you want to see another seemingly unnecessarily brutal North American sport...react to NHLs biggest hits ever. Then watch NHLs The Code.

The whole mission of the game is to possess the ball and get it into the endzone for a touchdown....the reason for the size variation is due to the physicality that their position requires...the bigger massive dudes are linemen...they line up face to face, the offensive linemen are the force trying to get through the defensive linemen in front of them to get to the quarterback before he gets rid of the ball so that they lose yardage when the ball is spotted where the QB gets 'sacked' i.e. tackled while still possessing the ball or to get to the running backs or receivers (that the QB will throw to or hand off to ) to stop them gaining yardage down field and scoring . The receivers and 'backs" are usually not as thick and powerful as the linemen need to be, these guys that are catching and running the ball are not linemen, they are "backs" and there are many types based on their position and purpose, they need to be fast ,agile and VERY ATHLETIC. They are the ones that will always catch passes to score or run the ball to score. This is not shocking to us in North America (Canada included) because it's the nature of the game and the excitement level to be captivated by.

🤦🏾‍♀Umm just so you know, Steph was staring down Ayesha in the stands not a player💀She was literally sitting there cheering him on so he gave her a lil "girl you gonna get it when we get home" type 💩😭😭😭I watched this game from start to finish so I know, he was focused on his wife with that savage look, I was so jealous and I love Ayesha but dang that was too sexy, she's so lucky😩😍😍😍

In US football, players will block or tackle opponents when they are too near their dude with the ball, the main difference in our game is there are tackles to protect and keep the opposition from tackling the runner or sacking the quarterback to gain possession ...which is the 3 on 1 you saw, and that's legal. However, the facemask that took the quarterback out looking like he was clotheslined, is a big no no.

5:55 - RIP Sean Taylor Dude thought he was safe because this was during the NfL Pro Bowl (the NfL's all star game), where you don't expect anyone to go all out like that. Sean Taylor (the defensive player) was a different breed. If you haven't seen it, check out one of the documentaries on his life and tragic death. Gone way too soon.

This was almost on the level of the 1970 MLB All Star game where Pete Rose BARRELED through Ray Fosse at home plate to score. In a damn all star game. Lol Ray Fosse was never the same after that 1970 all star game.

When I was in high school during practice our coach would randomly drop the football whoever recovered didn't have to do conditioning drills after practice. Fights for the ball got pretty savage.

Tony Romo took a shot in I think it was 2011 or 2012 playing against the 49ers. It fractured ribs and punctured a lung. He played the rest of the game and lead Dallas on a comeback to win the game. Playing with that injury. He was the quarterback too so he was touching the ball every offensive play for Dallas.
