I have an old c41eb and I use it for vocals with an SM7B blended in subtly to fill out mids. It sounds so clear, with barely any sibilance.

as a guy who just started doing shows as a black metal vocalist, this advice is incredibly helpful, and with my personality i feel the need to go hard and know i need to break that habit lol. Thank you!

Fascinating video, thank you for sharing! Not a singer myself but I was curious to know what it's called when a singer does that long note but in a back and forth kind of way which I'm probably not explaining very well. 😅But yeah it sounds like this, and apparently it's called Melismatic singing, cool! I really admire that ability to not only hold a long note like that but also change your voice so it's dynamic not static if that makes any sense. Anyway thanks again!

Extra German brought me here. Your German and English accents are both impeccable. I cannot determine from them which nationality you are. Reminds me of the Englishman in the film The Great Escape whose French and German were so good they fooled the Nazis.

Is there any chance to use such a voice effect gadget with a wireless microphone or to be controlled (on/off) the effects) on a wireless microphone....that would be a breakthrough 🎉

I think it's more forgiving then a Sony C800G. It has around 85% of the "crystal clearness" of a C800G. But the Brauner has a bigger Lowend. It's like a modern, open sounding U47 to me. Both are 3D sounding.

So entirely overrated. Many singers perform with the whistle register, so that’s not unique, and she possesses a 4-octave vocal range, while many others possess a 5-octave vocal range. Not bashing…….AG has talent. But come on, SUPERHUMAN . . . . . nah. In fact, she’s so oversaturated the industry, I’m frankly bored of her.

I’ve never had any amplification when singing. Mostly because I only sing alone at home. But I sang karaoke recently and realized I sing better when I don’t have strain so much to get volume. I can also hit deep bass voice ( think Johnny cash) when singing with amplification. I can sing deep but I can’t do it very loudly. With amp I was really able to “ growl” lol. I gotta get something soon!

Currently taking voice lessons. I'm having so much difficulty not with the transition from soft to loud, but that when I do go from soft to loud I use more air. My vocal teacher tells me I should use the same exact amount of air regardless of how loud or soft I sing. Is this true?
@Ri1si
@Ri1si Жыл бұрын
You actually need to deliver more air pressure to your vocal folds in order to sing louder, the trick is in controlling that pressure. So yes you will have to push more from your diaphram, but at the same time be mindful of how much air you're letting out. You are probably familiar with breath control exercises and they will work wonders, trust me. For me personally the higher I go the less air I tend to use, or at least that's the feel I am going for.
