This is very clever, the idea of mastering the art of rolling a joint lmao! from the cutting of leaves (grinding) to observing the rolling paper, and ofc the bowl as an ash tray. He finds his passion while high. Takes the phrase “cooked” to another level is chefs kiss 💀 Also could be when you’re high, starving, and all of sudden you become good at cooking and the food hits different😭 don’t ask me how I know this

I just saw this on Shortverse and was really impressed! Now I understand why it got a million views... it packs a punch for just 3 minutes.

Thank you ! I forgot that the film was also on Shortverse but I'm glad it's getting seen there too 👀

Every addiction was once an event, a moment of pleasure. You used to prepair for it, to organize ir, to cook it carefully, to see the details… When a “moment of pleasure” becomes frequent, we stop seeing the beauty or feeling that pleasure.

Regardless that he seemingly smokes, he never forgets his dream. His thoughts cooked in his psychy long enough, right up to this present moment. He knows exactly where he is going. He knows it's time for action. The film is crystal clear. He is the cook. He chose both.

Soooo… He washed his hands in the food preparation sink - big no, no. He was preparing a Camden Carrot - typical Saturday night for a lit of chefs. 🛎️ “NEXT!”

Its about how someone prepares to roll their joint, they turn into the greatest roller as if they are royalty serving themselves and enjoying with pleasure

I am actually interested as to how you managed to get all the production design together? Must have been quite expensive as it is not such a simple undertaking.
@vincentbossel28 күн бұрын
Yes, about a full week of work for 2-3 people and a good 1 to 1.5k budget for the furnitures, rugs, decorations (we also reused items from previous shoots) !

@vincentbossel28 күн бұрын
Yes, on a shooté sans prise de son donc plutôt que de recréer un univers sonore réaliste, j'ai choisi d'accompagner le visuel coloré-minimaliste par un sound design enfantin et playful.

An insanely powerful short film with so much room for interpretation! There are so many different views and opinions and that alone shows that your short film makes people think. I'm a fan of drama and therefore always like to interpret it dramatically 😝For me, the preparation and the first moment of consumption for the consumer is like a gourmet meal. Everything has to be perfectly prepared for the big moment of enjoyment. However, a short time later reality sets in and it doesn't look so elegant. Despite everything, the consumer realizes that he can use this energy and passion for something else as well. It's in his hands! For me personally, it's one of the best short films I've seen on KZbin so far. Great respect and many thanks for sharing! 🙏🏼
