Prefer mastertouch or chud box for grilling? Ive been grilling on my WSK more than my chud of late. Direct heat for sure chud....but WSK does a nice job as well. Thinking about adding a used master touch to the arsenal.

Thanks for the informative video. My new raw steel Mini Chudbox is arriving in a few days. Do you think I can just paint it first without prepping and rubbing it down with acetone? (I just subscribed, so keep up the vids!)

If you don't dry fry them first, they are just going to boil. Add the butter and salt after you have dry fried them and drained really well. They are perfect for storage after the dry fry. Just portion them out for a dish you want to make and freeze.

Why wouldn’t you do what the actual creator of the box does? No gates at the bottom, always lights the coal in the box. Seems like if he is t concerned, we shouldn’t be. Am I off on that?

Add 12oz sugar, 1.5 teaspoon yeast for each container of juice, guarantee this formula works well. Wine yeast will yield 20 to 21 % alcohol.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with wrights bacon it having sugar is just part of the curing process that has been used for over 3000 years and you are only getting less than a graham of it

A cheaper way to make jerky is with pork loin. Its easy to trim the fat off of and half the price of beef. Also pork shoulders are cheap. If you have a grinder you can make your own sausage with just the basic spices. I cook it in big batches just like hamburger crumbles. Then its easy to throw in with your scrambled eggs. With that same pork loin you can cut your own boneless pork chops. Pork can help bring the budget in line.

Coating with oil then baking it on will create a rust-proof polymer that outlasts paint, & won't chip or flake like paint eventually does.

with all that land and sun, you should look into water batteries. instead of a generator. Use the generator to pump 10,000 gallons and you're good to go with water powered generators

How do you get into the enclosed area of the chicken coop to clean it? I love the garden beds...what are you using? Looks like metal culverts? Great idea! Compost pile 😂 but the chickens are doing their job. Is Shirley a banty? I had a couple of those & they were fierce! I miss my chickens. What a beautiful sunny day 😍

great pointing out the sugar, but how about the sodium nitrate that causes colon cancer, You just ignored that, is there a reason?

Appreciate you watching and your comment. The study you're referring to was not a randomized control trial which is the strongest study. Correlation is not causation. There are many physicians that discuss this - you can find a video by Dr. Ken Berry where he discusses this. We choose not to worry about the small amount of nitrates or nitrites that's in some meat that we eat.

Love Sams, thanks for the video--The Kiolbassa is not Kielbasa/i…it’s the name of family and is beef sausage-the sugar is minimal… if it shows -0- carbs for any processed meats, it’s a good bet since it’s in the cooking process… that said, processed meat is a choice too (except for bacon! That Wrights bacon is a great choice)… the smoked brisket is delicious too… you filmed this before Halloween?

Thanks for watching and your comment. We try to pick things with simple ingredients and 0 carbs. We love Costco's bacon best - we had a bad batch of Wrights once and haven't tried it again. I know - what is "bad" bacon?! It was just all fat and no meat. We did film this in the fall - sometimes we re-release vids because when we get new subs, they don't go back and watch old videos.
