Hey Carolyn! Love your new room decor lol. Can I ask about your wall rack? I’ve been looking for something like that for my craft room!
@SwanCityYarns18 сағат бұрын
Absolutely! It’s just regular gridwall. Do a search and you’ll find it available everywhere. ❤

I finished 18 items - 12 were socks. Not my greatest year for knitting with it being hubby's first year retired and causing chaos around here. Not much knitting at all over the summer months, which is unusual for me. I don't use it, but mine says closed captioning is unavailable. I have a set of the blue driftwood Lykke needles and I am not fond of them. But I love blue, so not unhappy I bought them - to look at! I do all my socks on 2 circulars. I preferred (2) 16" needles for several years, but now I find the 4" tips make my hands hurt, so I have been switching to (2) 24" circulars. There seems to be too much cable, but it works. Might be the light in the room, not the camera. Some bulbs are a yellow light instead of a white or blue light.

Look at the Little Black Skirt pattern by Skeindeer Knits. It’s more of a skater skirt. ❤

I'm always 1 who watches later! Christmas in July would work for me for an Advent box. New Year's day cast on - start the year the way you want to continue. I do toe up and I make my toe to where it covers the 1st 4 toes before I start the foot. And the foot goes until when stretched it touches the front of ankle bone. My favorite current sock in loosely based on the Evanesco sock, but if making longer socks, I like Wilma's Waffle Socks for the heel. Which is very close to the Fleegle heel.

Ooh, excellent. I’ll check both of those out - thank you so much for the advice!

I am so extremely right handed that I just cannot knit continental, even though I can crochet with the yarn held in my left hand. I have 1 double sock blank that I bought at a show I attended a few years ago. I should pull it out an try it. But I do 2aat using 2 circulars since I hate magic loop.

I am larger on the bottom than on top, but always have had an hourglass type figure. So I usually do 3 sets of decreases front and back and then I add them back to increase for the hips. It gives a less boxy look to sweaters for me.

I’m using some colorways in the winter collection including the one I showed in the live today; as for technique…you know my habit of jumping in headfirst, so we’ll see! 😂 I’ll show it in Friday’s live.

It's 37 degrees here in KS right now at almost 1 am. Warmer than recent nights. Was surprised to learn that Catherine's last name is Harrison. My mother-in-law was Catherine Harrison. My lys has $6 flat rate shipping anywhere in the US. I thought Knit Pro was Europe and Knit Picks was US, but it looks like they merged into KnitPro.
