When did you buy your kayak? Ive just bought a seago and its a different colour,doesnt have the paddle holders and the D rings for the seat straps are in an annoying place that rubs on my legs! Looks like the older/newer model you have is better.

Hey, I got mine this summer, they did have this one and then a newer model without the holders - to be honest they scrape across your hand when you paddle which gets annoying. Other than that, they are pukka kayaks!

Well done Luke. Your mate Mick had a bit if bad luck at the start. Kayaks can be tricky to get into I did a similar trip in Kangaroo valley southern NSW here in Oz with my mate and we both went for a swim. Swans aggressive buggers though they're not white here but black with red beaks with a white mark on it that looks like smear of zinc cream.

Lovely video ,years since I have been to High Elms and must revisit again sometime , I remember the nearby private Lubbock family cemetery hidden in the woods as you walk up a foot path from Shire Lane to Farnborough church though I hear is so overgrown is quite hard to find now.

Hi, Yes, we stopped at some places where we got off, walked to a spot and listened to a story before getting back on and going to the next spot. Really worth it - I would highly recommend this tour!

My mum and I went for a lovely walk up there last year, was lovely (during the daytime) I remember running through these woods when i was younger when i was part of Goring Road Runners and being told it was the most haunted woods. I never believed the rumours lol :D : D

I grew up in Keston in the 60s and 70s and regularly went to the summer International Air Fair and the September Air Show. Although I moved away many years ago the area still has a strong pull for me. I wonder what those fighter pilot heroes would make of what's happened to this country now. They prevented Hitler invading Britain yet we now have an equally dangerous threat from illegal immigrants crossing that same stretch of water, many of whom despise the West and want to do us harm. Yet strangely they are welcomed with open arms by our government.

Hey, no it is not, there are large areas that are still open for "backpack camping" (wildcamping) in Dartmoor - you can check these out on the Dartmoor National Park website.

@@wildstagadventures Thats good to hear! Obviously the vanlifers, who are suggesting overnighting on Dartmoor, is now verboten, must be wrong then? I suppose if you are in a tent out on the moor, well off the beaten track the chances of any issues, are pretty much zero anyway?
