Thanks for posting the video. I enjoy the video content. I have to turn the music volume down when watching. I can’t hear what you’re saying. It’s confusing bc it’s serene and nature but I feel like I’m at edc 😂 I hope you keep making videos with relaxing music and lower volume. Thank you!

Was this the closest trail head & was there a cost to get in or was the red rock pass the entry fee?

I'm a solo camper, and I, too, plan on exploring different campsites. I really like Joshua Tree campsites, but I'm going to try Cottonwood Rd for free camping. Plus, I especially like the flat road driving as I only have a midsize compact car. Question! Is there anything I should know when going there?

As Carmenmartinez reminded: pack it/pack it out. No natural fires just propane. Return it to a wild state so the next person experiences that no other has been there.

Thanks for your video. It brought back precious memories. I moved to Hawaii in 1982 from S. Cal. I had no clue what to do or where I was going to stay. I had only a backpack with the usual gear for stealth camping. From the airport I bussed into Waikiki and saw Diamondhead crater off in the distance so I hiked up to the top and discovered those old military bunkers and lived in there for about 6 months. Back then you could do that but no more. After a couple days I got a job at a one hour film developing shop in Waikiki. Things got better from there. After a year at the photo shop I worked on a fishing boat then 4 months later I started framing houses. I did that for 12 years then went into the propane business until I left Hawaii in 2021. I'll never forget my first home on top of Diamondhead. The views were spectacular.
