Technically they wasn't the best team last year outside shooting was their Achilles heel and Iowa's basketball Coach exploited that and backed her team in the paint and dared them to shoot the threes and they came up short but Dawn Staley addressed it during the off-season and picked up Pou Pou in the portal to help the outside game.

NFL team owners are *business* owners. The do Not Know what makes a good coach & when humans don't understand things they Become Uncomfortable. When that happens, we seek comfort In The Familiar. So they view players as employees & coaches as supervisors. This is why Rich Bisacchia got pushed out for Josh McDaniels the Proven Failure. Owners Do Not Trust supervisors that their employees like. The _real problem_ with the Cowboys right now is that like most coaches who aren't Andy Reid, Mike McCarthy can only call Familiar Plays in clutch moments. Familiar Plays are the ones he's known the longest. learned first as did Every Other Play-caller in the NFL. Everyone knows how to counter them. This is why Dak returned to throwing INTs against the Packers, McC called plays they knew how to defend. Sean McVay _just hired_ an assistant because at least he's aware that he does this, calls bad plays in clutch moments. Every team needs this. Some more than others. Someone even the HC cannot dismiss or overrule without someone arbitrating their disagreements. McVay likely only needs to bounce ideas off of anyone else & he'll start realizing his mistakes. McCarthy? Unlikely.
