Really like your videos, just discovered you few days ago....exactly what I need to practice. You don't do any crazy movement all over the fretboard with your left hand but you grooving..👍👍👍
@jmarbly8 сағат бұрын
I appreciate the feedback. I had a piano teacher years ago tell me that minimal movement in my hands while playing a piece of music was more efficient. It’s very important for me to teach with a focus on technique with minimal movement. I hope you enjoy the videos.

What do you think about the neck pick up mine…….
@jmarbly5 күн бұрын
It’s a little thin for my taste. I only use both pickups or the bridge pickup.

@@jmarblyagreed any suggestions on a remedy?

Man you get incredible audio. I'm just unsure how to do it. I have an interface but that means I gotta record seperate. And then sync. There has to be an easier solution. I don't want to spend so much time on videos and take away from creativity.
@jmarbly7 күн бұрын
It’s been a work in progress. I use a usb mixer and record directly into my iPad. Seems to be working. Good to hear from you.
@BrandonMalone-x1b7 күн бұрын
@jmarbly so do you record the audio seperate and sync it? Or is it all live? Good to hear from you too...ive had a really good 2 days over 1700 views..so I gotta step it up lol
@jmarbly7 күн бұрын
That’s great to hear. I record direct. Audio and video together. I use a 12 channel mixer to record with. It also is my interface directly into my iPad. I use my video recorder on the iPad to record into. I then upload the video and audio into adobe premiere rush to finish whatever edits I have to make.
@BrandonMalone-x1b7 күн бұрын
@jmarbly ok awesome, maybe I'll just get an iPad then. I want a more portable solution than a desktop...so that would work out. Thanks for the info...keep it up. I'll be watching

Thanks for doing this video. I love Larry and Sly and the Family Stone!!! btw we (Trussel) had the pleasure of being on the show as an opening act with Graham Central Station when they released their first album. Hair is my favorite song on that album, I love playing that bass line and thankful for Larry giving us the slap pop bass.
