Anyway, I don't know why, automobilista 2 doesn't launch the openxr tool. i've tried many options, reinsrtallation of everithing. fixing missing files on the app,, paste the dll file, opencomposite launvcher, and the .ini..,.. i've done with the options... finioshed btw, the tool works properly on my pc, with dirt 2.0 assetto corsa and more. but this goddamned AMS2 doent want to work. if you have any suggestion i would be gratefull. 🤗

ts weird ran my quest 2 fine but when select openvr in content manager it only laumches to monitor not vr. not sure whats going on

can you explan the settings? what is turbo mod? why do you use CAS? Cas is only sharpening feature and its more performance expensive right?

As a non expert on computers... I want to follow these settings. But I dont find the setting manager in ACC (as in the youtube clip), where can I find it? Also settings with VR on, also cant find it. Have I made something wrong at the installation? Would be great we somee simple tips :)

That’s not true world scale is for the eye ipd. If you have a 65ipd set world scale to 97 but it’s shown in the open xr menu. the real world scale in ams2 is ingame which I have about 90 percent which makes the game more faster and natural for me. just compare the seize of the ingame wheel with the one at home. that’s it

Hallo, wenn ich ACC mit der OpenVr.dll von Opencomposite starte habe ich kein FFB bei meiner CSL DD Base. Mit der original openvr DLL von steamvr geht es wieder aber halt nur im steamvr Modus. Nicht OpenXR. Jemand ne Idee? Mit freundlichen Grüßen

Can't get Foveated Rendering to show up in the Toolkit menu - using OpenXR, the API is installed and the G2 should support "fixed" mode... no idea what I'm missing.

OK, this is really weird... I've had OpenComposite working brilliantly on both Assetto Corsa and AMS2 for a while now, but just in the last couple of months they both stopped being able to run OpenComposite. Any idea what may have changed?

It seems World Scale is just a zoom. When you zoom in the angle changes when looking left and right making it super unnatural.

Also ich bin 2019 dort gefahren, 2 Rennen. Wenn man gut ist kann man definitiv 48er zeiten fahren, es hängt halt davon ab wieviel vor einem los ist, und vor allem an der richtigen stelle den Boost zu aktivieren ohne das es dort Energieverschwendung ist.

Anyone have an issue with the command not working in game. Also I can’t use opencomposite with open xr. The game crashes if I have it enabled. It only works with steam vr. But the commands won’t work Edit: i fixed it, my ini file wasn’t converting so I had to disable “hide extensions for known file types” in file explorer. Now I can use open xr and open composite. Other than that I followed the steps in the video like normal. So far I only test ac, dirt2, and ams2. Ams2 does not have the control f2 menu

Very nice and helpful, finally my headset is crisp and perfomant! I had the problem of a black ring being in my vision that didnt even fully go to the edges of the screen, turns out you have to turn off Single Pass Stereo in Extra VR Settings in Content Manager. After I did that the resolution got ten times better too, like the resolution settings in the ctrl+f2 menu didnt work before.

I have an issue with starting ams2 with openxr. How to do that? In steam I seitched ams2 to steamvr and expected to see the openxr popup ingame. Unfortunately it does not appear. I got a Quest3. Maybe you know what to do?

Hey, it's old but im having issues trying to run the game with opencomposite, i can run with occulus rift, and i can run with openvr in steamvr, but if i select opencomposite i get a crash when ever i try to boot up a session, any ideas?

Just to make sure at 3:36 when we make the file we click new them text document then name it opencomposite.ini then we put in the hiddenmeshvertical thing?

Whenever I use VD to open the Dirt exe after applying everything in the video, the game will not run in VR. All it does is run on the virtual screen inside VD app. OK, for anyone having this issue, try renaming the d3d11.dll in your Dirt Rally 2.0 folder to something like d3d11.dll.orig. This worked for me, and the game boots into XR mode without Steam or Steam VR.

I followed these settings to the T and for some reason I am only getting around 70 fps max. I am also running a 3080 ti and 7800x3d. I used your settings on AMS2 and they work amazing locked at 90 fps.

I wanted to ask if you have an issue now launching AMS2 after a recent opencomposite update? It happened this week and now i cannot start the game using open xr anymore. Have you had an opencomposite update this week? And does AMS2 still work for you in Open XR?

I am so new to this and I'm grateful for the amazing video, however I get totally lost at 11:13 - is this OculusVR? SteamVR? Did you do it via Quest Link? No matter what I do at this point I cannot get that OpenXR menu to show up, and I think I've just made a simple wrong turn somewhere, if you've any idea where, I'd be very grateful. Hi, thanks for this video. I use a quest 3 and if i change the field of view it happens a visual distorsion when i rotate my head also the worlds rotate a little.

This made a huge difference over steamvr, thanks!
