The 16th is underrated and is my favorite place to stay in Paris. Yes it's a bit out of the way but that lends to its charm. Also its not just Passy but Ave Victor Hugo is a must-see as is Place Victor Hugo.

I stayed in the 16th on my last trip to Paris in September and will be back there again, in Passy, in November. It is a very quiet part of the city, very peaceful. And yes the architecture is amazing.

I really enjoyed this. Thank you❤ However, your website has too many cookie consents to be worth it. It is obviously your prerogative to do what you want with your site, just letting you know that you might be missing out on some traffic due to a complicated and lengthy process just to say “no cookies please”.

Keep up the video podcasts...maybe slot a little video of Paris in the middle... variety! Podcasts on KZbin are great. You can have audio and / or video, even mix in extra pre planned videos in the middle...making an extra dimension to your pod/video...mixed media presentations.

Enjoyed your podcast as always. The Hotel is indeed a stunning building. One comment and this is pertaining to your comment about Mozart having stayed their. When Mozart was a child, he toured, along with his father and sister, to various European capitals. Leopold, his dad, was laying the groundwork for the young prodigy to be acknowledged for the budding genius that he was which would, hopefully, benefit him as an adult composer/performer. Paris was one of those capitals. In fact, Mozart as a young boy was in Paris and stayed at the hotel at age 7, in 1763. Your comment was comparing Mozart's greatest years (you implied when he was still a boy) to the phenom Taylor Swift. However, Mozart's greatest years were his last 10, from 1781-1791 (ages 25-35), when he was living in Vienna. Paris was part of his musical development for the greatest times in his career - those achievements did not take place in Paris when he stayed there.

What a wonderful birthday surprise! Coincidently, there is a new series on Apple TV, "La Maison" which began recently. There is a fabulous building used as one of the main settings, I have been trying, unsuccessfully, to find out what location in Paris was used. I'm certain, after seeing your pictures, this is the courtyard that is a centerpiece of the show. It does have some modifications that were either temporary or CGI, to the ground level archway glass doors, but otherwise so distinctive, it must be the place. Thank you, for sharing this experience.

One question, do you think it is safe to stand in the bicycle lane in Paris? Thanks for your videos this gives a different view of the 20 arrondissements than i saw from two other KZbinrs. I will certainly check out the restaurant
