The whine is incredible. 660 hp, and with a KenneBell blower/pulley swap, and a few other mods, 1000 hp is easily attainable. I just like the blower whine. Huge hp in one of these can be a very bad thing.

If it had the proper 15 inch rims and Goodyear white letter racing tires, it would be BADASS. However, the fad 20 inch clown shoe rims and rubber band tires are what got put on and ruined it. 🙆👎

Jesus Christ, Shelby did not bring that car "over from Bristol." He started with an AC Cars Ace from Thames Ditton, Surrey. The Ace was originally equipped with a Bristol 6 cylinder engine. When Shelby showed up, AC Cars had lost Bristol as an engine supplier.

Absolutely love the iconic John Wyer-era Gulf livery. If I were wealthy enough, having a PAIR of homage #1075s with both No. 9 and No. 6 would be THE dream. Of all of the GT40s, the Mk I still looks the best and most proper.

I'm just curious, are there many differences between the Superformance GT40, and the 2005-2006 Ford GT, and could you explain what they are? I already know about the door windows, and possibly the engine! Are there many others? Thanks for your help. I've been looking into possibly getting a 2005-2006 Ford GT, buy I may change my mind in favor of a Superformance GT40!

these cars are all in the same class using very similar engines with the same or close to ability to accelerate. How was our car able to accelerate so much faster than the competition?

I love the FIA look, with the pipes under the car! How is the plate/cover made that hides the exhaust outlet for the typical Side Exhaust? Will the exit for the more standard side exhaust be already covered, and painted at the factory, when the car arrives at the dealership... or is this something that would need to be made and Painted (to match)?

Those GT 40's are wicked cars. As a custom option has anyone ever thought of using Dzus fastners or other nice matching fastners to quickly remove the side windows for cruising on a beautiful sunny day?
