Only saw 1 person on his phone and it was for a split second in this video. Such a shame that with social media today people are more obsessed with recording this stuff for likes rather than living the moment. If the 2019 comeback against Barca happened in the time of 2005 with no social media, the atmosphere would have been 100x better. The atmosphere was still amazing in 2019.

I remember being there tha night. It was red hot from the moment I entered the stadium. We got the team over the line somehow. Chelsea threw everything at us with let's face it a far superior team back then. When the 4th official put the board up for 6 mins added on it was like an eternity. The place went off at the end like nothing I've witnessed before. No one left the ground and we all kept singing for another 20 minutes. Unforgettable night. The best atmosphere I've witnessed

Chelsea fan here travellled up and down the country visited anfield in 2007 when we lost 2-0 (kuyt and pennant got the goals that day i beleive. I have to say i get some sort or nostalgia watching as the rivalry between us was something else those days. 30 years old now and its fair to sa this was my favorite era when it comes to suporting my team good or bad times.

You’ll find some Liverpool fans that try act as if they don’t care about chelsea but facts are only chelsea brought out this hostile side out of Liverpool fans Jamie carragher said chelsea overtook united and Everton as their biggest rivals that’s how big of a game it was from Jose to Rafa to Liverpool thinking their more historic while we were more “new money” even though we finished above them the season before without Roman this was what sparked the rivalry of one of the biggest games of English football it has that localised feeling with 2 clubs that absolutely despise eachother to this day my antipathy towards Liverpool has never left my body it goes arsenal Liverpool spurs united and Leeds joint together Barcelona every body else I love getting one over on Liverpool especially at anfield gerrard lampard the banners Liverpool had outside the ground for Chelsea Most Liverpool fans have united as their biggest rivals a lot Have Everton but you’ll find a lot of them that will say chelsea and it’s reciprocated on the blue side greatest atmosphere at an England game Ever anfield is a shell of what it used to be their hatred for Chelsea sparked it but nonetheless the rivalry throughout the 2000’s in champions league was special.

As a Chelsea fan who has traveled a fair bit this was the most amazing atmosphere I’ve ever experienced at a football match, it was absolutely electric that day and is something I’ll never forget, Shame about the result though!!

This video completely demonstrates the difference between Liverpool and any other club. Mad respect for the 5000 Chelsea fans who tried to out-sing us, they are true Chelsea fans. We have 50,60,70,80,000+ fans that would sing like that for our team. "It's more important than life and death" , he said it, we live it. We will never be beat! YNWA.

@@kamil_mugavara not as good as this was, was the loudest ground ever at the time 130db, only beaten by besiktas now. If we have a few bad seasons, and get back to the UCL semis, vs an english team at anfield, it will be like this again

@kamil_mugavara if I'm being honest it can be quieter than what it used to be. It depends on the fixture and how the season is going. Big European nights, scum utd match, and the Merseyside derby is still, without a doubt, the most intense and amazing atmosphere you can experience in any stadium

This is the time when we had no tourists in are football club. We will never have atmosphere like this again. Too many people on there phones and not knowing the lyrics to the chance. BRING BACK THE ATMOSPHERE

TMC HD you think there weren’t any tourists back then 😐 the reason why the atmosphere was like this was because of how much it meant. Start of Chelsea dominance and Liverpool during our banter era. Also with Stevie G to Chelsea rumors. You’ll never see an atmosphere like this because the stakes were never higher.

They say its good to be a big club but where getting more and more tourist in and it’s stupid dunno why they can’t support there own teams in there own county. I’m scouse born and bread and u don’t see me support a team like Barcelona. So they need to fuck off. Ur seeing less scarfs coz people using mobile phones it’s not right
