It's 12°- 16°degrees with freezing rain an 2inchs of ice by now in game. Is there a heater in the hummer? Motor oil might help your engine recovery Could bessie get sick from exposure ?

Bessie has Outdoorsman, but it's only effective up to a certain point, if I remember rightly? Like, if he were playing nuclear winter mode, Outdoorsman is a useless trait - that sort of thing.

just a chance of catching a cold i think but no exposure mechanics in the game that i know of and there is a heater in the hummy i just have really good winter gear on so it usually doesn't effect me

and if I recall correctly, there's a couple of the armored doors marked on the map over in Jamieton still. those could be backups, letting use the mats for some of the other metalworking upgrades

It's really cool seing the weather changes, it started to rain and all the snow was gone. eheh oh and those evaporated milk stuff is usefull to treat deseased (i think i spelled that right lol) crops. you can use either cigs or milk to treat 2 different things, just need those watering cans for farming. oh and you have a mod that lets you play those arcade games

ah yea you can make that stuff from milk too i know you can use cigarettes and water to make the flies treatment as one cure, had no idea the milk could be used as well thats good to know! i think i may have the arcade mod in my list but if not i will add it thanks rad!

i've tested it a few times and its kind of the same with brita's mod as well and the vanilla guns they will just blast whatever's behind the zed nearest to you if the zed is like right near you its odd. like if theres one in close range and one at medium range it almost always hits the one at medium range no matter where i have the curser its something to do with the games aiming system or something

What happens to me? I cleared the bottom of the crossroads mall with my machetes and thought I'd go all shooty upstairs, I go get my m14 battle rifle that's fully kitted and my other large backpack filled with 30 loaded magazines, so including the loaded rifle; 620 rounds to bring it to the zoms, I carefully go upstairs for the first time; ghost town. I might have shot about 10 of them. Dang it. They'd already either thrown themselves down or come down the stairs.

you mean just an absurd amount of zeds show up? xD ya that tends to happen, after a few good runs of rounding them up and getting used to dealing with that many it gets easier, just watch your back a lot and try to draw them all into a group. buckshot is by far the best to level aiming fast but it draws a lot of attention too

@@-FireNation- That happened to me the first time, you'd think a place like doe valley would be quiet and easy, I was on the road on the way to the military surplus and had a small group, nothing the m590 couldn't handle, next minute they just come pouring in from the fields, it was insane. Bonus was they all had seed packets on them, seeds for days.

I keep waiting for the extra bump out at the corners to have a safety lookout for zeds... but the place is totally clear, so I guess they aren't really needed here. I just like that extra bit of safety before departing. Bessie clearcut the nearby trees and baconators :)

i did want to do like some corner watch towers but dang ole the amount of time it takes to get the wood is debilitating haha! i do like a good grind but man. i may still try and build one just for the looks and see how i could design it. maybe stick a love seat up there with a cooler and a radio

That big parking loot looks like a drive-in cinema. That explains so much cars being on the front. Zeds spooked people and were trying to escape.

Cook the raw rabbit meat to increase what it gives and it'll increase your cooking faster double cooking it. Stews are my go to, (have a filled with water cooking pot), 3 rabbit, 3 potato and whatever spice you want. I'll also add in any spare cabbage I have left over from trapping too instead of one potato. And then with the scrap leftovers I make a rabbit/potato/cabbage salad in a bowl. My cooking shot to level 10 in no time. Also if not reading a book while waiting for stuff to cook, I was reloading / unloading an m16 magazine I'd found. Shot reload skill to level 4 fast.

There is a mod for logging skill that can help make tree cutting slightly faster. Also the infinite capacity mod I use for storage containers and very rarely to Xfer items

I notice you have some animated cars - the flat bed trucks. But you still don't have Vanilla Vehicles Animated mod. Why? It is totally safe to throw in midgame.

i don't think i've heard of this mod, i will add it to my list for sure and it could be perfectly fine to add or remove, i just don't know if it would conflict with other mods, its more of a just don't want to risk it situation = ] but thank you for the mod suggestion! i'll look into this one

@@-FireNation- the only mod conflict known to me is if you use Vanilla Vehicles Animated together with Fancy Handwork and Standard Vehicle Upgrades. If all 3 mods are active there might be a glitch with door not closing properly due too too fast animations. There is an optional fix submod that slows the animations down but it make unarmored doors super slow. So only use it if you suffer from that conflict.

Hypothermia alone would not kill you. But it can put you in severe damage territory with all the penalties that status entails. And it can give you a nasty cold causing you to sneeze uncontrollably inviting all the zombies around to help end your misery.
